That is pretty quick. We usually get it in about 4 weeks or so.

Have to be careful and make sure you spend your nonrefundable obc. Some types are nonrefundable to our surprise

Yes, it states on your on board account which is which. Basically gift, loyalty and military are refundable. Some special OBC provided by Princess HQ is also refundable. All other are non refundable, which includes most promo OBC.

In the Cruise Personalizer’s Payments & Credits tab there’s an asterisk * by credits that states Please enjoy using these credits onboard as they are not refundable”.

The refundable credit from Princess HQ is listed as Customer Goodwill on my reservation. It’s been recently posted that Loyalty credit is now listed there within 5 days of sailing. And after qualifying the refundable military credit is automatically listed for USA veterans.

Your onboard statement you can print from the kiosk clearly shows how much OBC is refundable and how much is nonrefundable.

Also shows on Princess@Sea. I have an "extra" $200 on our recent cruise. Put it on my cruise card in a slot machine. Turned it into $150 (D'Oh!) then cashed it out on the next-to-last day.

Note: Princess always uses your non-refundable credit first.

Kiosk never worked the entire time onboard...:(went to customer service, longest wait was no more than a couple on minutes...:)

all of our OBC was refundable from move over offer...:D

Good to know that they were so quick to refund unused OBC from a moveover offer! We have to wait until January for our replacement cruise and it will be nice to have the balance quickly!

What is a moveover offer?

I received a $800 OBC to change my Alaska cruise for the next week because Princess oversold the cruise for the week I purchased. Only used $500. $300 was lost and expected a refund-NONE

Our cruise on the Caribbean Princess was over on January 27, 2018. So far I haven’t received my refundable OBC for $1.78 . Do you think they will add a little interest by the time a get it. :D :D

You better set up a go fund me drive. I’m sure many sympathetic cruisers would contribute to ease your strife.

We were on the same cruise and I noticed on our final statement if your credit balance was less than $20, you should go to passengers services for a cash refund. It took about 5 minutes to get our $17.

We had two different refundable OBC amounts coming back to us. The first check was in the mail when we returned home 9 weeks after that cruise ended so I have no idea how quickly it was processed. The second check didn’t show up, so 11 weeks after that cruise ended we called Princess. No explanation for its tardiness, but we had a check just a few days later.

No clue - what selections are available 'before' you swipe your card ?

also saw others walking away without a statement...

meh

The only selection that must be made prior to swiping the cruise card is language. If no selection is made the kiosk won't do anything.

We've enjoyed the new updated Princess app on our Royal and Regal cruises that lets us check our onboard accounts on our computers. Has Princess rolled this out on other ships?

Viewing our onboard accounts on the Princess@Sea intranet system has been available on every ship we’ve sailed for several years.
