Magnetic Door Sign

On one of our previous cruises, a couple on our deck had a great door sign celebrating their 50th anniversary which included some of their wedding photos. I asked the lady where she had bought it and she said her daughter had gotten it made.

 

We are planning a TA in November to celebrate our Golden Anniversary and I would love to have a sign like that. Anyone have any idea where I could get one?

We got ours made by Vistaprint and have now done 9 cruises with it. We chose the small car door magnetic sign

At Michaels you can find magnetic frames, you only add your 50 sign. We get one free for CC store when purchase the luggage tag protector.

We buy 6" x 9" adhesive magnetic sheets at the Dollar store; we print the photo or clip-art then stick it on. For a more creative touch I often cut around the drawing to make it stand out.

It is Making Cruise Memories, but I don't know if you can upload a picture. I'm sure there are plenty of places that can. Their price is reasonable though.

Don't spend too much money on one as on our cruise, one "disappeared". Also, someone took a gentleman's wheelchair he had rented. We were shocked by this on Celebrity!

They took our Christmas decorations too but I just go with the ‘don’t spend much and don’t worry if it goes missing’. I was upset at the time and never hang anything now that I’m not ok losing.

We had a favorite photo made onto the large car magnet by Vistaprint. Personalized items are less likely to disappear. Our magnet was $13 & we had it in 4 days.

Does the "sign" for your door have to be magnetic or can you discretely use tape?

Doors and walls are both metal hence why magnetic is easy to put on and take off. If one is using a cardboard sign for example then Blu Tac or something similar would work but may fall off. The magnetic sign is completely reusable as we have now for 8 cruises

You can buy 8&1/2 x 11 magnet sheet at office supply store and then just print your sign out and stick it on the Magnet

Lots of good ideas here but I think DW would kill me if I got one for our Bermuda cruise in July when she hits one of those milestone birthdays....She does a great job of looking a whole lot younger :)
