Loving all the pictures and info. I’ll be sailing on NS on a b2b after the New Year.

I adore the HA piano bars but haven’t experienced the dueling pianos. Love to hear your opinion.

I like the dueling piano bar from the Koningsdam well enough but I haven’t yet heard the pianists on this ship, as I’ve been going to sleep really early - my sleep

cycle is all screwed up. But I’ve got 10+ days to get straightened out!!

A little bit sad that the tomato lemongrass bisque and lemon brulee are gone but looking forward to new items.

We had a wonderful day in Cartagena today - brilliant sun and the temperature must have been around 70!  Our multilingual guide was a geologist and historian and took the six of us us to Fuensanta and Murcia, and taught us so much.  Of course half of it will leave my little brain immediately, but hopefully some of it will stick.  Sergio also took us to a 90-year old bar and we had a lunch of wine and tapas, and then to another place in the main square for coffee or hot chocolate.  We got back about 2:30 to find divers going off the dock beside the ship - evidently something fell off one of the lifeboats and they are trying to retrieve it.  Maybe we will hear more  later.

We are going to go to Canaletto tonight.  I am studying the menu.

Please give us contact information about your guide in Cartagena.  We will be there next fall on the Rotterdam with a group of 11 and this sounds like something our group would really enjoy.

Had a good day in Malaga too. It was my second time. First time I went out to Granada and the Alhambra. Today I walked into town and visited the cathedral, Picasso museum, had a sangria at an outdoor cafe, went to the Alcazaba and then walked through the Christmas markets on the way back to the ship. We had fantastic weather !

Great pics!  The candied bacon sounds intriguing along with the 'new' tenderloin and beets.  I don't remember beets on the menu in the past.

Jacqui I don’t ever remember seeing roasted beets yum on the menu. !!!

i just finished dinner and I’m hungry 🙄🤦‍♀️

No more food porn!!!

Denise😊

Yes the beets are new. No more brussel

sprouts. And I too will miss that lemongrass soup. It was my favorite.

We've been to the piano bar twice and it's awesome and totally packed.  We are also really enjoying the quintet on the Lincoln Center Stage.  Last night's Main Stage flautist was really good!

My sleep cycle is also out of whack!

Does anyone know where you can smoke cigars?

There’s a smoking area outside on Aft pool area starboard side. I’m assuming cigars are allowed there.

B.B. Kings appear to be doing their late/last set at 11:30 PM, you know when the "vast majority of HAL pax are fast asleep, and the entire ship has been dead since 9:00 PM!" :classic_laugh:

I like that, the first part :classic_cool:

Sorry to hear your sleep cycles are out of whack. 😞

Hope that improves very soon for both of you.

Sherita - is Snort's sleep cycle struggling too? 😉

I'm caught up again.

This is great!  Thank you so much for doing this.

The food looks fabulous.

You'll be back on your sleep cycle when you're home.

Enjoy the cruise - I am.

On Koningsdam there was a small buffet with Fingerfood in the Billboard Lounge, l believe.

Does Nieuw Statendam feature it as well in one of the lounges?

I know the layout is slightly different regarding the bars.

The billboard has a self serve appetizer buffet for happy hour. It looks smaller

than on the Koningsdam but maybe that’s due to the placement of it here.

Is there any possibility you might find out the names of the piano entertainers in Billboard Onboard?

I am happy about the beets!  I am very very sad that the raspberry cheesecake is gone.  But what is that globby thing on the steak?!  :classic_ohmy: 😭
