I suspect RCI has some way to protect these structures that bring them $1200 per day.

That's what I would assume too. They put a lot of money into CoCo Cay and I sure the architects were told to design it so it could withstand a major hurricane.

Officially we sail Wednesday night, but I doubt that will happen.

Breezy morning here

News crew on the beach to the left of Laura

Hoping your area gets spared by Dorian!! My sister is stationed in Jax Beach and is a little worried about the storm surge - She lives across the street from the beach.  Keep us up todate on how it goes...

With Dorian being a cat 5 now....you can pretty much say goodbye to Coco Cay.

Not so.  CocoCay is 45 miles south of the hurricane so they will (or did) sustain some damage but it’ll still be there.   I’m curious though if it’ll open for next weeks cruises.

Six, so starting tomorrow morning we have 5 flights of stairs to get here. 😱

Gotta get Bella out before 8am for her morning potty

Rig up a pulley system and you can lower Bella out and down off the balcony so she can do her business😇

Get a roll of sod and put it on your balcony.... slide door open, potty on sod, slide door closed.

Opening Sept 7 as per recent e mail to Symphony guests.

Wow...so much devastation just to the north.  So sad for Grand Bahama Island.  Guess Coco Cay was spared.  Still...with how slow and way past date of completion of the original installation of "theme park".  Wonder if they are jumping the gun on that one as well?

Then again...$$$$ speaks.   They are losing out on those 1200.00 Cabana rentals right now.  😉
