Suitcase under the bed

Does anyone know if a 28" suitcase will fit under the bed? I've never traveled with a case that big but plan to on my upcoming Anthem cruise.  If it won't fit I'll take two smaller bags. I'm not flying so excited about the prospect of bringing absolutely everything I want with me.

The bigger question is how tall is the suitcase when closed?

 

Also, some have had good luck keeping the suitcase open when sliding it under the bed.

It's 14" high.  Should have mentioned that first.

Our large suitcase, open with a mid-sized suitcase opened and laid inside it, fit easily under our bed on Oasis last week.

Might be a little too high. Measured one that is a little more than 13 inches that I know fits but not sure how tight it was.

As the other stated, if you open it up it will fit.

Ours is like that. Do what we did, one of you lift up the bed a bit, the other slides the case under the bed. It will fit fine.

When we went 3 years ago on anthem, we placed 2 under the beds. It was a 11 night so we filled with dirty clothes every few days and they still fit full.

If it won't easily slide under, lift the bed frame.  It will fit.

Yep. I have several the 4 wheel spinners large and small, neither will fit under Ships bed even with then open. One i put in Closet, other stand up end of the dresser

As mentioned if you open it up it will fit. We usually keep one open under the bed to hold our dirty laundry.

My wife has a suitcase that is huge. I hate having to schlep it around when we travel. I don't know what the measurements are but it fits under the beds on RCI ships. We always leave it open so we can put dirty laundry in it.
