Price drops

Anyone seeing any prices drops on cruises?  I've been checking everyday and not seeing anything dropping.  I've seen a few rates go up!

So my cruise is September, so far $50 drop total, but i am seeing more cabin's opening up such as Aft Balconies and suites. I am sure once we get closer they will drop a bit more not much though. The only thing i can see dropping a lot would be the suites.

Ours is also in September, on the Horizon.  We are in a Grand Suite.  None left on that sailing.  I've been checking for the end of May (suites) on the Sunrise and so far no price drops.

Just FYI - there are at least 2 other price drop threads on the 1st page right now.

Short answer is yes - lots of price drops. You can see what others have posted in other threads.

Ours is on the Breeze on April 4th...in a few weeks.    No price drops...the price is actually higher than we paid a year ago.

Same here. What I have found are people with great low ball offers are taking advantage of casino rate offers, so it's not just a general discount rate

I think it depends on when you're cruising. I booked my 3-day cruise in November and saw a $195 price drop. But since then, nada (we cruise next week). I've also seen some massive price drops.... if you're looking out of state. Someone shared my cruise with their prices, but had Florida resident. I was so mad lol

Both of our booked cruise prices have gone up several times, even within the past few weeks. Not sure where folks are finding these great deals, I sure don't see them. Possibly just on certain cruises, but not across the board apparently.

Watching the webcams out of Port Canaveral the ships look pretty well loaded to me. Lots of folks on the decks.

If you booked early saver there is a form you can fill out on the bottom on the carnival.com page.

Sometimes they get back with you the same day if not within 48 hours I have always heard something.  I just submitted as well since our's had dropped $90.

I'm on the Pride, leaves Sunday, and our price had dropped $120 but it's back up now, some rooms are higher than we paid.

I'm really hoping we stop at Grand Turk, it's one reason we chose that itinerary.

Just submitted my first ever Early Saver claim today, $38. Not very much but I'll take it. (It was processed surprisingly quickly, too.)

The form does ask where you saw the price so I expect that it at least might apply to other websites. Since the form is easily filled out online one has nothing to lose by not submitting it.
