Awesome photos Sue.

I'm delighted you both had a fantastic cruise and meeting Dani @dani negreanu too was the icing on the cake.

Graham.

Sorry to hear about Owens injury.  I missed out on two weeks CC so missed this. Hope he's not in any pain, the young heal fast, though annoying to happen right at the beginning of the school holidays

All things considered he is doing well. He seems a lot happier now having the lighter cast on but is missing baseball and won’t be able to swim in the pool. His spirits have improved though.

You photos look amazing. It certainly looks like you had a great time, as well as the pleasure of meeting Dani.

No raisins.  You got to smart cookies right there. 😁

Never raisins in our house. My wife is allergic to them.  That’s why we always had trouble with the apple pie on Royal.  She is so glad they went to the apple blossom deserts, which is what she orders almost every night.. No raisins in them.

I’m sorry to hear she is allergic to them, but thankfully she now has an option while on the ship.

I have a question; is the allergy in all form of grapes or is it something to do with the process of the raisin being made?

It seems like our days are so filled, it is hard to keep up here.  This morning, I was out doing some prep work for the First weekend of summer party tomorrow.

Our grandson was busy helping make some cookies.  You can tell he likes lots of chocolate chips, just like Susan

After making some small ones

He decided he wanted to make a really big one.

Baking out of the way, we decided to grab some lunch and eat on the boat

It was a beautiful day, with very little boat traffic

This was the maiden voyage for this season, and everything was running smoothly for a boat that we have now had for 38 years.

Finished off our evening as we do most nights.  Drinks in the hot tub while streaming something.  Tonight it was just my grandson and me, so we watched the first five episodes of Man vs Bee, the new series on Netflix with Rowan Atkinson. If you like his humor it is worth a watch.  We were both laughing.

That looks like a wonderful day

Not the summer any of you envisioned but nice to see things are at least looking better with no surgery.

Some one recently posted they were away a few days and had a lot of catching up to do.

Daily I usually try to read my threads at least twice, but lately with getting around to organizing and cleaning up around here as well as summer upkeep, I find myself way behind on these threads.

But man, when you have pages upon pages to read after just one day, it is amazing.

We share so  much here, and I truly enjoy it.

I  may not always respond to the beautiful pictures or family events, but I try to.

I love how people take the time to share their lives.

I do want to make a few comments. though.

@A&L_Ont  So happy that Owen does not need surgery.  Great news!

Love all the kitty pictures, soon for us, very soon.

We do not want to adopt till after our August cruise.

Now a  question directed to:

@Ozark_Kid

I know you recently did a live thread and posted from Alaska in May.

It was awesome.

Now question.

There is currently a thread live from Alaska with few post from the OP.

Now he could be having tons of fun, and utilizing the drink package.....

But

When you sailed was there difficulty in posting on CC, with WIFI or whatever it is called?

Just curious.

Take care all!!!!!!

Why can't Owen go in the Pool. Just use one of these and he should be fine.

The ship internet was not good for us on Ovation. I have heard that ships cruising Alaska receive their internet off different satellite than in the Caribbean and that makes a difference. I did my heavy posting such as loading pics and videos while near port.  I was able to use 5g cellular and it would work 1 or 2 hours after leaving port while sitting on the balcony.   The only exception for me was Canada.   Sharon could use her iPhone but I did not have any luck with my Samsung.

We will be passing near by your place today!  We are leaving Indianapolis right now and headed to Lakeside on Marblehead.

Anything grape based, so that means I have to suffer through drinking all the wine we bring onboard.

It is a tough job, but someone has to do it!
