That is a great itinerary.   We've done it twice and it would be even better with a b2b Boston-Montreal-Boston following it.  

 

We booked the b2b round trip out of Boston for September 11-25, 2021.   I figured that would be late enough it might have a chance of sailing and my sister said it would have fewer kids in September.   The second time we did the Historic Coasts itinerary there were a ton of kids on board and you couldn't get near the pool.

I'm so excited to see this.   We took a hot air balloon ride last September in Letchworth State Park in New York.  I admit I was nervous at first, but it was wonderful!   If you've ever seen the show Arial America, it is kind of like that.

I appreciate your letting me know!  We did know about the fires but not how bad the smoke is.  Also know about the timed entry passes, and have been watching when we can get those.  We plan to be in Estes Park Sept. 7-9 and then head to Yellowstone (which is also having fires, but we've dealt with that before).  😞  I guess all we can do is keep an eye out,  pray for rain, and listen to advice from nice people like you who live there.  Thank you!

Today have delivered "meals on wheels" to housebound folk.

Sharon, I recommend if you are doing B2B, to fly into Boston or another US state. Allen and I flew to Quebec last year via Spokane, WA for a cruise and it took FOREVER. Layover in Chicago was over 4 hours on a red eye.
