Sorry, Medeba, it isn't Civitavecchia.

As yours is the only guess, I'll add the photo again.

As nobody has guessed this, as far as I can see, I'll tell you the answer.  SEVILLE !!!

We're hoping to get there with Azamara in Sep, so very happy to see what is apparently a great docking location.

Golly, I’ve been to Seville but not on a cruise, and recognise where this is. I didn’t realise how close the ship gets to the town centre.

We flew to Seville to start a Med cruise from there. We had 2 lovely nights in the centre of Seville.  Then Captain Carl then navigated down the Guadalquivir River to sea.

That tree looks very like the one in my photo in an earlier post so I won't say anything for the moment!

Riocca

Do you think it's about time we told people where our photos are from? Hilary

Yes would be a good idea, ours is Siracusa Sicily 😀

Am I correct in remembering that the ship was docked almost in the downtown area? It was a very short walk to the main sites. Or am I confusing this with another Sicilian port?

It's interesting because as I was looking at many of the photos that's exactly what I thought of them and why the experiences are special. Here's one. I think this was probably the most central I've ever docked at a port on Azamara. The second photo is looking down from deck 10.  Any idea?  Hint, it was a Baltic cruise.

Initial thought is Warnemunde, if so it’s a very different docking location from the big ships.

So Phils shot was not Stavanger, so just to say, yes this is another great close in stop

Pursuit in Stavanger 12 years before she became Pursuit. We were on the ship docked the other side of the harbour, not sure if this was during the time Captain Carl was Staff Captain on her.
