Sea day brunch.  More coffee, yes. Paul always gets the attention from staff with the Bayern shirt.  They all love to talk soccer.

Needs an England shirt!

I have been cruising carnival since 2014 and have never seen a ship on a stick before. Of course, I don’t play trivia, so I guess that’s why.   People seem to be really crazy for them!  😎

Paul got on for coming in to trivia dancing to Abbas Dancing Queen.  Do something eccentric and it’s possible

Ate at the Italian restaurant last night

chicken Parmesan and spaghetti alfredo

For dessert, the biscotti cookie with coffee gelato after a few bites.

You picked the right night to go to Cucina del Capitano.  I have always felt that night three is the weakest menu of the week on Carnival and we always go to a specialty venue that night, at least on the four Carnival cruises we have been on over the past 10 years.

The lady with the sign and sail card hat just rode by us on her scooter in the casino.   Mr was behind her.   Too quickly for a pic.

I caught a glimpse of her on John Healds video.  That is one hell of a lot of sail and sign cards.

I ran into a guy at my Mdr table who had each and every sign and sail card from every cruise he had done .. and wanted to tell me about each one. I think I asked for a new table. Now I do anytime.

It's one thing if you are asked ... it's another to start talking non stop as if you have the market cornered on cruising when someone wants to eat. Yikes. I'd have run from her.

Love those Ship on a Sticks.

Won several on our last Carnival cruise, but it was more difficult than usual because there was another real good trivia player.

And then a woman I first met on the roll call and then on the ship said their waiter just gave them to her kids. My first thought was wow i had to work to win them. But then I decided they were just kids so why should I be upset over it.

Clemson! My man! My main squeeze! If you happen to go by the Alchemy Bar, mind finding out who the head alchemist and his/her assistants? Thank you so very much!

I didn't see this answered but I know Anna Marie is the main Alchemy Bartender on the Horizon.  I've sailed with her a few times and she's one of my favorites.  I did not recognize any of the other staff from her posts.

A good time to try to win a ship on a stick is during trivia while in port (if they have it).  You have less players then so you have a better shot at it.  I once won two in one sitting.  Gave the second one to my sister who was cruising with me.

LOL, I would have ran too. The gloaters are the worst, always trying to impress people with their stories of how awesome they are, their education/pedigree, or how much money they have. Boring. It might be interesting to the people who claim they are "literally crying right now" at hearing others cruise stories but the majority of cruise fans aren't anywhere near that extreme. Cruising doesn't really change much, it's mostly the same stuff over and over. It would be absolutely dreadful to hear someone yapping about their cruises at every meal. Different people is yet another great reason to choose anytime. Being stuck with the same people every meal would be to big a gamble. Variety is the spice of life.

Don't know why the picture multiplied.  I had deleted it from the post.  Just went in and edited it to delete the multiples.

As you can see from the name of the ship, it was a longgggg time ago.

True that.   I have been on 20 or so cruises.  Not even sure.  Don’t care, love all the lines.  Partial to carnival lately because I love the itineraries on the journey cruises.  This is a quickie because it was booked last minute and NEEDED to be on a cruise.
