Do they still offer prints if you want to purchase photos that way or are photos only available for purchase in digital form?

You are required to buy a thumb drive with your chosen pictures on it for $21.95. If you want a paper print, it’s $2.99 for a 5x7. I don’t know about the bigger sizes.

A little off topic, everything in the Princess store was 30% off.

For all my military folks that were asking, we had our Veteran M&G today at noon. It was published in the Patter. So, yes they still have them, and it may be on the last day.

I think they forgot about them so I asked at one of the captain circle get togethers. Duke said it would be set up on Saturday. I don’t think that is set in stone so it would be a good idea to mention it to the entertainment staff on the first or second day to give them time to set it up including some refreshments.

By the way, Jan said they have every intention to keep the cruise credits for veterans.

Ours is from our hometown and they need a time frame.  We said 9:30 but is that too late?

The latest disembarkation time listed is 9:30 AM.  We won’t be able to speak to how timely anything is until tomorrow, though.

Ok one last post. The gem out side ranged from freezing wet cold to sunny and very hot. You must pack for all weather. Inside was moderate and comfortable. Of course there was at least once where I needed a light cover up inside.

Awesome.  Inside is what I was concerned about.  Sounds perfect.  Safe journey.

Did anyone posting here attend the Captain's Circle party? If so, could you report the numbers for the most traveled passengers and the breakdown of passengers by Captain's Circle status. Thanks.

Princess hosted two Captain’s Circle parties.  The most traveled passengers cruised nearly 2000 days, in theirs place was nearly 900 days and the other one was somewhere in the middle.

I believe their was a most traveled passenger luncheon today.

my wife and I will both have Plus - if we both want a glass of wine on the balcony - will we each have to order those separately or can we each order a glass at the same time on one device/login

we found that when I ordered two drinks from my app, they charged for the second one … even if it was just cranberry juice or coffee.
I am sure it is a bug that will get worked out,  but

Thank you all for sharing your experiences and insights on this first cruise.

We’re doing an Hawaiian cruise at the end of November with our final payment date fast approaching.  From what feedback you have given, we’ve green lighted the trip and are looking forward with great anticipation!

Hello! Great to see all these Live from posts again 🙂

I too also had a question about disembarkation, was their the usual customs/immigration (show passport etc) or no since these Alaska cruises do not visit Canada or stop in foreign port?

Thank you!

thank you so much for taking the time to post during your cruise!

I might have missed the answers to these 2 questions:

1. Did you have any issues with laundry?

2. Do you know if anyone had issues bringing drinks on board?  We like flavored sparkling water and want to bring some  on board.

thanks

Thank you HaveDogWillTravel for all your hard work keeping us informed about this cruise. I’m so happy it was a successful cruise with no major outbreaks of illness. It’s great to see cruising back and so many people anxiously awaiting their turn at the fun. I followed this post the whole week and found it very interesting. My only concern was with all your time posting did you have time to enjoy the cruise yourself?
 Safe travels home.☺️

It helps to stop by the computers daily to scan through your photos and favorite the ones you think you will want. Then the check out process will only take a few minutes.

The photo center was quite busy, but many of those folks were visiting for the first time and had a lot to do.

There are no more stacks of printed photos to scan through. They are only on the computer with face recognition tech.

That is such good news - I always did not like the amount of photos that were ultimately thrown away so much better for the environment

@cheeseclan I used my much loved free elite laundry every day up until glacier bay day when my steward told me it was my last time. It takes 3 days for free elite laundry.

I put cotton and linen pants & shirts and one knit top everything came back perfect. I never send anything that would make me sad if it was lost or ruined though. No dresses either.
Idk the answer to the second question.

so nice to be able to stay in the room until 8:30. International cafe coffee came in 10 minutes. And no charge even though I got 3.

Maddies Mom, Thanks for sharing that information. I'll be sure to mention it to Duke and hid crew on the first or second day.

I'm glad that they are going to keep the OBC for the veterans. Over the years Princess as been very generous to the veterans. Thanks you again for posting that information

I went to the priority disembarkation lounge (vista lounge) at 8:30 barely sat down before being escorted off the ship for my 8:40 time slot. I saw they had beverages and pastries.
we had to show passports at customs and that’s it. No lines anywhere. Breezed past the luggage as I used port valet and was put immediately onto a princess transfer. 8:55 am we are on our way. So 25 min from cabin to transfer driving away.
not too shabby!

How many people were allowed in the Vista lounge? I ask because on our Royal AOS Cruise all passengers were asked to remain in their cabins until their disembarkation time. I assume Princess is still having passengers assigned to disembarkation locations?
