What is he telling you is a hoax?  That Royal is cancelling cruises, or are you referring to another specific post in this thread?

The harmony trans Atlantic is on    some of the other ones he acknowledged as being canceled

This announcement is long-awaited — and we couldn't be more thrilled. Please note, however, as we prepare for our return to sailing, it was necessary to make a few sailing cancelations to accommodate these restarts. The below are regrettably canceled:

  • Anthem of the Seas® departing Southampton: October 20, 2021
  • Brilliance of the Seas® departing Tampa: September 4-October 11, 2021; December 11, 2021; March 28-April 25, 2022
  • Enchantment of the Seas® departing Baltimore: September 4- December 11, 2021
  • Explorer of the Seas® departing San Juan: October 31, 2021
  • Harmony of the Seas® departing Barcelona: October 31, 2021
  • Liberty of the Seas® departing Galveston: September 26, 2021
  • Ovation of the Seas® departing Sydney: October 27, 2021- April 10, 2022
  • Radiance of the Seas® departing Miami: October 15, 2021- April 10, 2022
  • Rhapsody of the Seas® departing Tampa: February 26- April 16, 2022
  • Serenade of the Seas® departing Sydney: October 24, 2021- February 27, 2022
  • Vision of the Seas® departing San Juan/ Fort Lauderdale: September 5, 2021- January 14, 2022

Is there a link on Royal caribbean  web site stating this?

My agent just got off the phone with Royal and said this about my March 5, 2022 sailing on Rhapsody

"I spoke with an agent at Royal and they said that your sailing is still going. The Rhapsody sailings from 4/23/22 on have been redeployed but yours is still sailing. If I hear anything different I will let you know."

Edit: Think I found it.

We have not received anything regarding the Harmony TA or the Med cruise before it. I’ve read things on this site and others and there’s all sorts of speculation about these cruises so I guess I’ll have to wait for the likely dreaded email with all the flowery words about how hard they are working and how they much they appreciate our understanding blah blah blah

Just talked to my travel agent who is extremely knowledgeable and has bought thousands of royal Caribbean cruises including more than 40 for me and he told me this is a hoax.     It was re-posted here obviously from a hoax perpetrated over on FB which makes perfect sense because nothing is ever posted accurately there

The list of cancellations posted here Is directly from Royal Caribbean.  It’s also posted on their TA website “loyal to you always”. Your knowledgeable TA should check the resources available to him.

The Harmony TA is not cancelled.  It has been removed from the list of cancellations on Royals website.

That was not a hoax.  It was an error on Royals part as it was listed in an e mail that was sent out by Royal which is what I posted to start this thread.

You should ask the mods to edit your OP to remove the Harmony error.

Only have them strike through it or something so it shows that it was there originally, and then was changed -- otherwise half this thread makes no sense!

We did get an email from RCCL about our cancellation. They are not giving us much time to make a decision on what we want to do and when we want to rebook there are only 2 cruises available but only inside cabins and oceanview.  We can only do winter months because of work schedule and we like balconies so that doesn’t work for us plus to lift and shift that is a joke. The same ship with the same product with the same cabin within two weeks before or after the following year does not exist. So I want to know from RCCL what they expect us to do with such limited options out there for those of us that would like to take the 125% offer.

Two more cancelled for us on this dump……refund only mode at this point…

24 cruises cancelled or rescheduled

Still waiting for FCCs for over three months

Current Protocols for fully vaccinated guest are unacceptable to us.

NO more interest free loans to RCL.

We are clawing our money back, one cruise at a time, 13 more to go…..

stay safe all..

I was booked on Radiance departing 1/2/22.  It's  been canceled.  I was going to wait for FCC and apply it to my booking for Oct. 20, 2022; however, I was advised that the cruise must depart by the end of Sept.  So I just requested a refund of my deposit and for the drink package which I had purchased for my husband and myself.

Another good idea, I’ll ask.  Not sure they can do a strike through though

Does anyone know how this works.

Say I get the FCC now and my plan is to use it for  final payment  in April 2022  for our September 2022 sailing. But I decide just before the  real final payment date is really due in June 2022 I want to change that cruise to a different cruise in March 2023........... What happens to the FCC I received, does it carry over to the 2023 cruise, or do I lose it?

Is this a legal way to extend the FCC?

If you apply it to a cruise departing after April 30, 2022 it is not covered by CWC and if cancelled, the FCC would revert to its original expiry date of Sept 30, 2022

Least you got a letter from the CEO!

I just got an email forwarded to me from my online travel booking site:

"We will automatically issue your Future Cruise Credit via email by September 3, 2021, so there's nothing for you to do!"

-----

Dear Guest

We've been diligently working through all the details to prepare for our Royal Comeback. It's taken months of planning and coordinating to get up and running, and since our return, we've delivered fantastic vacation experiences to over 110,000 guests.

We've taken a measured approach to our return, welcoming one ship at a time back onto the high seas. The health and safety of our guests, crew, and the destinations we visit remain at the forefront of everything we do.

As we continue to navigate our journey, we've had to make additional changes to our plans. As a result, we will need to cancel additional sailings. These decisions are incredibly hard as we recognize the importance of vacations - especially these days. Unfortunately, this means your sailing will be canceled.

We're terribly sorry for the impact to your sailing. Below we have some options for you, including an option that has been very well-received by our guests, as it provides a little something extra to use towards a future cruise - and there are plenty of options available for you to choose from now! Here are your options:

OPTION 1: Automatically receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit

We're providing you with a 125% Future Cruise Credit to book a new cruise by April 30th, 2022.

This amount is based on your total cruise fare paid, and we're giving you a little extra knowing that this is such a unique circumstance.

Your certificate can be used on any Royal Caribbean International sailing that departs on or before September 30, 2022, as long as it's redeemed by April 30, 2022.

We will automatically issue your Future Cruise Credit via email by September 3, 2021, so there's nothing for you to do!

Taxes & fees and any RoyalUp upgrades will be automatically refunded. Current refund processing is around 45 days. We are working as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience.

****Please NOTE:
If you opted into the Cruise with Confidence 100% Future Cruise Credit, this offer does not apply.

*If you previously used a Future Cruise Credit (including previous Global Suspension FCCs), you'll receive a new Future Cruise Credit. This will be for 125% of any new monies paid on this sailing, plus the value of your original credit at 100% of its value, with an expiration date of April 30th, 2022 and a sail by date of September 30th, 2022.

*If you were already impacted by a sailing that was previously cancelled due to a global suspension and paid additional monies on a new booking within this extended suspension period, and you opt in for a refund via the process below, it will be for both bookings.

OPTION 2: Select a New Sail Date Next Year (Lift & Shift)--please contact your travel advisor to assist with this by Aug11, 2021

If you prefer to move your existing booking to a sailing next year - we're happy to move you! We will price protect the original pricing and/or promotion on a sailing that has the same ship, embarkation port, sailing length, product, and stateroom category as your original sailing within 2 weeks (before or after) of the original sail date the following year. For example, if you are moving from a Brilliance of the Seas September 4, 2021 sailing, you can move to another sailing that has the same ship, embarkation port, sailing length, product, and stateroom category, and has a sail date between August 21, 2022 - September 18, 2022.

Please NOTE: price protection covers your cruise fare/promotion on an applicable sailing only and excludes taxes and fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items, as these may change.

You must decide to move to a new sailing BY August 11, 2021. If not, we will automatically issue you a Future Cruise Credit.

Complimentary Casino offers, Charter sailings, and select rates are not eligible for this offer.

OPTION 3: Select a 100% Refund----please contact your travel advisor to assist with this BY September 30, 2021

If you prefer a full refund, which is a lower value than the future cruise credit offer above, we're happy to process this for you. Given how fluid this situation is, and the opportunity to use the extra credit being offered, you have until September 30, 2021 to request a refund and deactivate your certificate.

Please contact us to start the refund process, forfeiting the higher value of your 125% Future Cruise Credit.

Note: Please know, once we receive your refund request, we unfortunately won't be able to accept an FCC request if you change your mind. We'll then deactivate your Future Cruise Credit and process your refund to your original form(s) of payment, which will include any non-refundable deposits.

You can expect to receive your refund 30 days after you submit your refund request.

PLEASE NOTE: If you used a Cruise with Confidence certificate on this sailing and you request a refund instead, we'll refund any NEW funds paid above the certificate amount, and we'll reinstate your original Cruise with Confidence certificate.

Air/Hotel
Refundable air or hotel accommodations purchased through Royal Caribbean will be automatically refunded to you within 30 days after we process the cancellation.

If you booked non-refundable air through Royal Caribbean or booked on your own, please contact the service provider directly for your options with them.
