Rare BirdTravels Posted August 18, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2021 NCL typically has a selection of 14 main dining room menus which they can rotate through. The selection of the menus for any given cruise is done weeks in advance by the Executive Chef and sent to be provisioned. Rare OrcaGirl Posted August 18, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2021 Thank you for posting these in an easy-to-reference format! Out of curiosity, were the MDR dessert menus posted in advance either outside the dining rooms or in the app?

casofilia Posted August 19, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2021 Thank you Interested reading but I wonder just how long they will remain the same before being changed. I hope they are available on all ships.
Rare BirdTravels Posted August 19, 2021 Author #6 Share Posted August 19, 2021 Historically NCL uses the introduction of a new ship to roll out a new set of menus. The next new ship scheduled for release is the Prima next year. What’s new set of Menus is released, it takes about a year to roll those menus out across the fleet.
STARFISH*4 Posted August 19, 2021 #7 Share Posted August 19, 2021 Hope they keep the Cordon Bleu last two times it was very good! Its hard to find in my neck of the woods!! Wish they would bring back teriyaki chicken on a stick I ordered those for my entree when they had them

Diver2014 Posted August 21, 2021 #9 Share Posted August 21, 2021 Yum, my mouth is watering. Glad to see I can still have my cream of wheat for breakfast (with a tablespoon of brown sugar - yum!). A lot of people might disagree but I've also had the best, creamy, buttery tasting scrambled eggs on a cruise ship - if you order them right out of the pan. Glad to see Prime Rib still available but love a lobster night. We hardly ever eat in the specialty restaurants because there is plenty of selection in the MDR's.

Rare Happycrafter123 Posted October 14, 2021 #15 Share Posted October 14, 2021 Thank you for the menus, it really does help to plan. I love breakfast in bed, there is no better way to start the day for me…. I see that the little card for the door has only 3 of the full meal options but the separate menu you show includes additional items like avocado toast and steak and eggs— are they on the backside of the card or do you have to call for those? Room Service IS included free for HAVEN SUITES guests! (see below) ***Also, yes DO tip the person who delivers your room service!!! Is Norwegian Cruise Line now charging for room service? Norwegian Cruise Line has introduced an enhanced room service menu. The new menu offers an expanded selection for breakfast, in addition to a wider variety of options available 24 hours. Individual items on the menu remain available on a complimentary basis and a convenience charge of up to $9.95 USD will be added to each order placed (Morning coffee, continental breakfast and orders placed by guests sailing in The Haven will not attract a charge)*. A 20% gratuity and beverage service charge will be added for non-complimentary beverages and special occasion items. Room service is one of up to 29 dining options offered across the fleet, and guests continue to be able to enjoy a wide array of complimentary choices onboard 24 hours a day. *Prices subject to change. Now it is only in specialty restaurants. NCL discontinued lobster in the MDR back in 2016.
