Mothers day promo code

Well, we all know how crappy the Carnival IT team is when it comes to coding. I can see how it would be much easier for them to just apply it as a generic promotion. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that they won't try to limit the Cruise Cash to specifically Spa services. It all comes down to what the rules say for the promo code. I am just curious what that says. I would not mind buying $200 in Cruise Cash for each of my next 3 trips but want to make sure it is not limited to spa treatment (since my wife is a RMT so already better than anything I could ever get on a ship ;-). Anyone with the original e-mail that this promo code came from? I am sure it has some fine-print on the bottom somewhere.

I canceled and reordered my wifi package and saved a few bucks.

What is really weird is that it worked for someone on my cruise on October 1st but it won't work for us on the same cruise. I tried different browsers and different devices.

So to add more mystery, if I go in on my HUB app and do manage my cruise, it does allow me to use the promo code but only for my room, not the three other rooms linked to my account. I purchased $500 in cruise cash for $400.

I canceled the excursions that I  bought with a gift card (this morning, no less) does anyone know how this will be refunded?

You will receive a new gift card via FedEx in about a week. This is what happened to me last month when I cancelled a fun shop order that was partially paid for with a gift card. I was surprised at how fast the gift card came.

Based on the actual e-mail above, this is 100% a Carnival IT screw-up in our favor. It shouldn't be working on all the non-Spa items but it is. Someone at Carnival is going to have a really bad day when they figure this out and how much it cost them.

Agreed.   I used it for the spa, as well as Wi-Fi, a cabana, and the Steakhouse.  Nice.  Just hope we don’t get a bunch of cancellations in the next few days.

Not necessarily.  If they notice significantly higher sales they might actually have activated sales at the margins where Carnival actually makes more money.  Think of all the people rushing to buy Cheers without evaluating if it is best for them.  And they may be able to see a profile of people buying excursions earlier which can be beneficial to Carnival.  It could very well be anger in the morning with praise by lunch situation when the numbers are evaluated.

The fine print on Cruise Cash states it isn't refundable or transferable to a different cruise.   On the off chance that we had to cancel a cruise, would that mean we are just out that money?

The code will not work for me for my October 8, 2022 Panorama cruise. I tried Cheers, Cruise Cash, Steak House and a blow out in the spa and it said promo code invalid every time. No Mothers Day discount for this mom and grandma, bummer!

I just had a thought, this cruise is booked with a casino offer for a free inside cabin, I used it for a $800 discount on a Cove balcony, that might be the reason it won’t work. I also didn’t get the e-mail and this is my my first casino offer

No, it isn't refundable means that if you still go on your cruise and you change your mind about your purchase, you can't get your money back.

Well, finally got home to try this, and I think Carnival must have fixed it. Every purchase I tried, even a pedicure, using the promo code MSPA said it's an invalid code.

The code is MSPA22

For me it seems to work for 2022 cruises but not 2023 or 2024.  added some cruise cash to my Bermuda cruise. But I tried canceling an excursion and rebooking it. Even though they removed the excursion from my bookings, when I try to re-book it says I have a scheduling conflict and it won't allow me to book it. Maybe that will go away before the sale is over.

It is good for cruises 5/18-11/08/2022

The price savings using the promo code versus the April cost is 4.66 pp per day.  It came out to 65.26 savings for two people for a 7 day cruise.

The code didn't work on my cruise on my tablet when I copy and pasted the code. It DID work when I used my smart phone and typed the code in. Save me $120 on wifi, post cruise transfers, and cruise cash.  I also have cheers and excursions booked but I'm nervous and hesitant to cancel it all and rebook them thinking something would have to go wrong! Tempted to try it though.........

I rolled the dice and cancelled my Cheers that I bought before the price increase last week.  After cancelling the first one I went onto another browser to repurchase it and it went through.  After the second one, I tried it again and it blocked me, but I was successful after using my cell phone.  Ended up saving 65.26 for each 7 day sailing.

any purchased cruise cash with 20% discount and then purchased cheers with additional 20% discount using the cruise cash?

The cruise cash can only be used on board.  You can buy up to 500.00 worth of cruise cash and it'll cost you 400.00.  The 400 needs to be paid with either a credit card or a Carnival gift card.  If you have gift cards from AARP or Allstate, then you're saving an extra 10%.  I got 1000 worth of cruise cash for 800, less 80 using gift cards, so it was only 720.
