What do people do about tipping for drinks if you get the drinks everywhere package from the casino?

We have been getting the drinks on us while gambling in the casino for the past 2 years.  I can tell you this...the service is much better and faster if you throw the server a buck or 2 for each drink.  They will seek you out!😜

Agreed.  And they do prefer cash tips, for whatever reason.  Last cruise I got $100 in one's and made sure to spread them around the ship.  It was a lot of fun, and a lot of free drinks, though some went to restaurant servers, cabin steward, porters, etc.

My guess is cash tips they can spend at the next port stop, whereas tips added to the receipt have to wait until their next payday.

Cash tips can slip into a pocket, charged tips get divided.

John Heald said that any time you give someone a tip it goes directly to them. And that’s been told to me by bar waiters before. Tips may have been divided in the past but my understanding is now they are kept by the individual bar waiter.

According to several casino servers and confirmed by a casino supervisor, sail and sign tips go directly to the casino servers who served you.  This is why when you tip $2/drink instead of $1/drink, the servers gravitate around you like planets around the sun.  Or flies around... well, you know.

Call me old school but I order $2 bills from my local Chase branch and use those for tips... 99% of servers get a kick outta them

No, they don't.  What they do is have a story about "that guy", like bad guest bingo.  $2 bill are a pain for them, can't be used in most ports. Likely pass them around (crew tip out other crew for services onboard ) like a white elephant gift.

Say what you want, I've never had anyone complain or wrinkle their nose to a $2 bill, hell by the 3rd day in the casino they were all looking for me saying $2 bills were lucky. $2 bills are legal US currency why would they not be able to use them in port?

Because other countries aren't US, $2 bills are considered unlucky, port vendors don't consider them real.
