What Color are your Luggage Tags ?

What color are your luggage tags for embarkation ?  What Ship and what Deck were you/will you be on ?  Forward or Aft of ship center ?  Port or Starboard ?  (all of these items are on the luggage tags)

 

note: its totally ok to print tags in B&W !!

I bet you're curious why in the heck I'm asking this ?  It's because I read recently that the color of the tag indicates the general location of your cabin.  I've checked our upcoming cruise where we have 3 cabins and indeed the 2 cabins that are across the hall from each other are one color and the other cabin that is on a different deck is another color.  Now It's made me curious what each of the colors mean, so I'm gathering data points.  Please help me by posting your info !!

In case it matters: the red (maroon) of my tag location colour is a darker red than the red PRIORITY pentagon on it.

Here's the RED color of my friend's TBA cabin upcoming cruise that I listed above. 
I just got my other friend to send me her Horizon two deck 9's that I listed above.
Not the same color red at all as the TBA cabin.  More of a maroon or magenta.
Really glad I asked her to send it to me, haha.  Red is subjective.   : )
I used Snipping Tool on computer for these screenshots  C:\Windows\System32\SnippingTool.exe

Yes, this is what I was thinking (hence my qualifiers about shade) before I came across some of my older tags - there are two different shades of red used on each sailing, bright red and dark red (maroon).

Yep, your post was the catalyst for me asking her to send screenshots.  I was just taking her at her word for "red".  : )

This is what i noticed with my current cruising career when i look back at my past cruise documents

2009 - Miracle FWD-P = Light Blue

2010 - Glory FWD-P = Brown

2013 - Splendor FWD-P = Brown

2014 - Splendor FWD-P = Purple

2016 - Vista FWD-S = Brown

2017 - Sunshine FWD-P = Brown

2019 - Sunrise FWD-P = Purple

2022 - Magic AFT-P and AFT-S = Purple

 

I just got off the Sunshine yesterday, FWD-P is Purple. In a few months i will be going on the Paradise, deck M is Purple

 

 

it seems for me, Brown and Purple is popular color tag for me. neither are my favorite color.hmm maybe they should be?

It's starting to look like the color is the deck designation.  There may not be any color difference if its Aft or Fwd, and Port or Starboard.  Although I do still need to gather lots more data points.  What deck # were they on each of your cruises ?

You could travel with my daughter.  She flew to Florida and went on a 10-night Eastern with a small carry on.  We had 2 large suitcases and 2 carry ons.

The Horizon TBA cabin was assigned. 

It was a guarantee interior (and had RED tags) because that was all that was available when it was booked on 12/15.  It was just assigned, technically an "upgrade" to a Family Harbor interior, so not ideal.  Kids do not tend to be quiet in the morning.  Or any time really, haha. 
Luggage tags are now PURPLE deck 2 AFT-P  (same color purple as above)

Mine are always grey....but I'm colorblind
