BTW…music played in the plane (or anywhere for that matter) that utilizes someone who can’t sing but is “auto tuned” to sound on key should be banned.

 

Boy, do I sound like a person who shakes his fist at the clouds for blocking the sun?

 

Probably just need coffee and a nap!!!!!  😴

Not me, I currently have zero booked trips right now.  My wife (who is not on this site) is going to Alaska on the Spirit May 24th.  Enjoy your cruise!!

Yup, I think we have the same room as you - we're on the port side.


The September trip was supposed to be Marty & @CptBoatface, plus my sister & her whole family. So we'll finally get to meet the captain & admiral in person and will definitely do the traditional Blue Moon toast in honor of Marty.

 

@graphicguy, you'll get the full scoop when you share a Guinness with @ChiefMateJRK this trip. Enjoy Alaska guys, have a glacier margarita for us!

Re pants: oh no! Hope those aren’t your lucky pants. 😄

 

Im up,I’m up!

Had a moment of panic that I was in violation of some sort of luggage weight rule. Last minute check and double check..looks like I am just under the posted “max” - I have never packed so much but I have no idea how warm or cold I’ll end up being.  .. 15 days in NOLA and cruising? Carryon no problem. 😄

I’m packing lighter these days!

 

Well…now that I’m down one pair of pants, my luggage got a little lighter.  2nd leg of trip they won’t let me up with the upper crust.  But, they put me close enough that I can smell their Old Spice and Charlie.

 

In a bulkhead seat.  Lady next to me keeps trying to push her big purse under her seat, which the guy behind her keeps kicking back.  Looks like this is going to be a thing for the next 4 hours.

 

But, we’re on time!!!!

Just a quick note to wish all who are onboard today a wonderful cruise. May you have smooth seas, abundant sun, and minimal rain. My bride of 40 yrs and I are on the Bliss sailing that starts in exactly one week so I will be totally glued to this thread. Thank you, @graphicguy and @ChiefMateJRK for your insightful and humorous posts. Bon Voyage!

Do let us know how the WiFi is in the pier terminal building … there’s going to be a World Cup rugby match overlapping embarkation when I’m there later this year and if it winds up involving Ireland I may have make a decision on whether to stay a bit later in the hotel or not.
