Recently flew on American and due to a series of major screw ups on my part, we were in coach rather than the first class seats we had paid for. American reimbursed us the difference in the fares, which I really appreciated since I flubbed up.

So hopefully same will occur with Jim & Iain.

I'm glad they were able to adjust your fare.     I'll work on that later but really not even going to thank about it today.

Bummer you were not able to stay in first class.

Great news that you got on an earlier flight.

Fingers and toes crossed hoping you'll make it.

It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.    I don't think I've flown coach in over 20 years.

The biggest difference I found was how long it took takes to get off the plane.    Really didn't make a difference as we had to wait about 30 minutes for luggage.   The agent was able to get us Isle seats so that made it a bit more comfortable.

Thanks for the update.  Sorry it's so late, but glad you're where you need to be.  Have fun.

Awakened at 8:30 Am to a beautiful blue sky -  A really good omen.     I  did cheat a bit and took 1/2 of an Ambian.      Iain is still sacked out.   What's new?      I have instructions not to wake him until 9:15.  As we all know I always follow instructions....  as I bang around in the kitchen.

Looks like something they probably send out to everyone , just like when you call any company now

“we are experience higher than normal calls your weight might be longer than usual”🤣

The breakfast offered at the Hyatt was really enjoyable.   Except for eggs cooked to order the product was far superior to Embassy Suites.

I am not a big fan of the hotel breakfast buffet because of the eggs.  I am pretty sure they use liquid eggs instead of fresh for those scrambled eggs.  I have not even been able, on most occasions, to make a decide bacon and egg sandwich.   However, I can put up with just about anything knowing that in four hours I'll be onboard a cruise ship.

Looking forward to following along on your adventures while impatiently waiting for ours to start.

I’m sure it feels just great to wake up in your hotel at the port!!

And we resemble this remark…I’m the late riser and my husband is the early riser…he is also very skilled at “not waking me up”. 😂

Checkin was a breeze.

We grabbed an Uber for $18 and were quickly delivered to the port.

We arrived at 10:45 and there were some waiting outside.   At least there is a small shade area as it is hot and humid.

Up to our Celebrity Suite.   The room was 99 percent setup.
