Hibachi was a dinner and a show. I can’t even describe it by text but we were all howling with laughter. Dinner drink was She’s a Geisha.

We went to hibachi last night on Allure and really enjoyed it. Our chef did not do the “flaming onion volcano” like we’ve seen in the land-based restaurants. Do they not do those fire tricks on ships? I hadn’t really thought about that until last night.

They did the onion volcano for us last year on Mariner but without the flames.  He did a smoking volcano.

They used water in the onion volcano to make smoke.

The only flame we saw was one candle for a birthday cake. Seconds later it was blown out.

And then the  waiter quickly snatches it away.

I like the older ones better.  Agree they look classier.

Nice, old style.

I prefer the 1st generation with cursive text.  However, 2nd generation (CAP text) is better than 3rd generation (color photo).

Awww. Ours did not even do that. It was still a great meal.

Noon update.

Multiple dips in the Solarium Soup Bowl have happened to stay cool, along with copious amounts of liquids to stay hydrated.

El Loco Fresh was a tasty lunch snack. With a little extra work, this is what we came up with.

I like the people in the background hugging! Very authentic

Dinner, was very good. Hopefully Jamie’s will be gone from the ships.  I wish I tried the Portafinos back in the day.
