Hi, wondering what the best choice is to carry around? Thinking land yard might be the best option! Looking for advice please. Thank you.

It really is a personal choice.  I used something that held tags that clipped to a belt loop.  DW was happy with something on her wrist.  Opened the door to the room when it was in my pocjet.

It comes with a lanyard you can use right away.  On board they sell accessories to put the medallions in I have the plastic wrist strap which I like.  There is also a bracelet, necklace and a clip available. The plastic wrist one was only 12.00$

Agree - whatever you like best, and change it whenever you want.   I use a Casino (Las Vegas) coily strap, hooked onto my belt and stashed in my pants pocked - DW ( Dear Wife) uses a Dollar Store sparkly lanyard.   Both work fine for each of us!   Have fun with the "problem".

I have bought air tag holders & clip mine to my phone, sister uses a lanyard & BIL just puts his in his pocket...you will probably only need to tap it on a reader when getting on & off the ship, the rest of the time it pretty much works from wherever you have it so whatever is convenient or comfortable for you

Mrs Ldubs bought me the wrist watch style holder.  Worked pretty well.   I'll continue to use it.

I won’t wear a watch on a wrist strap, so I won’t wear a medallion wrist strap.  I don’t like any kind of necklace.  So I just carry mine in a pocket.

I got some fit bit holders that clipped onto my waistband as this was suggested in an earlier thread but while it was a great concept, they didn’t work.  The medallion kept slipping out of the holder so was at risk of getting lost.  I ended up throwing out those holders.  I am going to try the wristband next and will only use things specifically designed for the medallions as I hate buying stuff that ends up as trash.

Here's what I ordered from Amazon.  I keep it on my wrist, so I never have to worry about leaving my stateroom without it.

 

 

Something similar would work as well.

We hate lanyards. Our favorite and most comfortable are the silicone type bracelets from Princess. Inexpensive and purchased OB.  They have other types, but these were soft and didn’t bother us. 
So easy to scan off and on the ship.

Exactly what I did and threw the lanyard away!.

 

Since the cruise my medallion is used as a ball marker when playing golf

If you haven't been cruising Princess very long this won't help...but when the Medallions first rolled out they were delivered with a special "clamshell" type holder.  We always keep our old cruise cards/Medallions as souvenirs. This is what I use...I just switch out the Medallion from the previous cruise.  (DW carries hers in her pocketbook.  As a guy, I always have pockets so I just stuff mine there.  Neither one of us go for the lanyards.)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I rather the key card like on other cruise lines lol. Likely mine will end up in beach bag and then to evening bag lol.

I am unsure what will work best for me, too. I have ordered the gold bracelet to hold my medallion. At least if I am wearing it I won’t forget it? That way I don’t always have to have my bag with me.

there have been multiple threads on the subject over the years.

Last year I bought these on Amazon by searching "airtag holder bracelet" . We like them a lot. If you have very wide wrists, you may find them to be uncomfortably short. My hub's wrists aren't as chubby as mine, but he found them to be too tight. I liked mine even though it was on the very last hole. Kiddo loved his. 

 

make sure to get this type of closure: others unsnap easily.

 

 

Previously we used the clips: we liked them just fine, but I think we like airtag watch bands better.

 

My parents like both clips and lanyards.

I love the wrist band. I tried an Airtag one but they fit but not completely so I just bought a wrist band onboard. Use it on every cruise now.
