Mick B Posted February 8 #3 Share Posted February 8 Hi, This is another good thing. It was very difficult some nights to get your last drink in if it was close to midnight as it could just be a few seconds after when your card was swiped by the bar staff due to crowds and therefore you would be charged and have to go to guest services to have the charge removed which was a waste of your valuable cruising time. Now its 5am which means that you should have used your vouchers as there is normally no where open at that time that I can think of. Mick.
SRF Posted February 11 #4 Share Posted February 11 Except the last night, you could stay up to midnight and use your drinks from the last day. Hard to hit 4 - 5 -6 drinks on embarkation day. 😄

berternie Posted February 12 #6 Share Posted February 12 I think the poster meant "hard to hit 4+ drinks on disembarkation day" as there's not a lot of time to avail of the vouchers before you get off the ship.
Rare rrraydon Posted February 12 #7 Share Posted February 12 I didn't know you could use your Diamond drink vouchers on debarkation day, too. My BFF was on Anthem last month and went down to get her and her husband specialty coffees and was asked if she wanted to use her vouchers for them. Good to know, I love specialty coffee in the morning!

On other days, I rarely drink prior to pre dinner and mid cruise seem not to drink at all. M

Tatka Posted February 12 #11 Share Posted February 12 (edited) Good planning is a key. We drink (something is usually had at tailgate party preimbarkation) after first lunch in the pool/solarium before rooms are open. on Sailaway Some lounge with a music after dinner (or prior) Welcome aboard show Some lounge with a music If we cannot finish the last it goes for the next morning pre-breakfast. Could be something like cognac, brandy or Sidecar... so no ice. 🙂 Edited February 12 by Tatka
2chiefs Posted February 12 #12 Share Posted February 12 I'm pretty good with 5 drinks (Diamond +) for a cruise. Every once in a while, I'll have a 6th but then Sallie never uses her 5 so I'm good to go! LOL
