Thanks for the update. Great news about Cemal. Recently heard from, Juan Barbano who told me that Cemal was on Solstice, but did not mention promotion. It will be wonderful seeing Jovel again, but wish he was somewhere , than Qsine. Kristof moved over from Constellation and another good addition. Know Ante from Blu in Reflection. Shaping up to be a great cruise. Safe travels.

As the eclipse has now arrived in Florida for the Caribbean season I was just wondering if anyone currently on or maybe just got off could gives us a heads up as to the current crew... We will be boarding on the 28th December for the NYE Cruise and I know is still 6 weeks away but I guess the main crew would be the same after the transatlantic!

I got off the ship on the 13th (great cruise!!).

To clarify since there are two "Kafitzis" Masters. The Master on the Silhouette was Dimitrios Kafetzis. Man, was he funny!!!

I just heard officially that Sue left EC yesterday for vacation.

I met Ben Powney onboard Eclipse. He boarded the ship about 1/2 way through the cruise, to shadow Sue Denning, and get a feel of the ship. As Ben has worked on a number of Celebrity ships in recent months, I suspect he fills in when other CD's are on vacation. I found Ben to be very personable and excited to be onboard Eclipse. He happens to enjoy Cruise Critic, so he must be good :). I appreciated that he wanted to meet the Cruise Critic members on our sailing (Ben wasn't onboard for the first meet and mingle), and helped coordinate a 2nd meeting, which was gracious of him & Sue Denning.

 

While it's tough to follow in Sue's footsteps, I hope Ben will do a great job.
