My first cruise on-board the Oasis in 2012... It's where my cruising obsession began...:)

First time we ever got a balcony room, I went off the ship in port and took a picture of DW standing on the balcony. Started a tradition we have been doing ever since.

I've got some pictures from the near sinking/intentional grounding of MONARCH that I like ...

At about 0135 hours and owing to the water ingress, all watertight doors were closed from the bridge ... the master decided the most appropriate course of action was to return to St. Maarten and intentionally ground the ship on a sandbank in Great Bay

It's hard to narrow it down to one, but I like this one. A different angle. Grandeur of the Seas in Bermuda.

Here are a couple recent favorites...

Majesty in Coco Cay...we were on a Serenade cruise when I took this. I've never been on the Majesty, but I like the picture.

Oasis arriving in Fort Lauderdale on boarding day!:) We got a room at the Hyatt Pier 66 just so I could watch the arrival!:o

FYI, HMAS Sydney was an Australian Leander-class light cruiser.

On 19 November 1941, Sydney was involved in a mutually destructive engagement with the German auxiliary cruiser Kormoran, and was lost nearby off of the west coast of Australia with all 645 aboard.
