C&A Amenity? One per stateroom?

Recommended Posts

Is it one amenity per stateroom, or can my husband and I each select something different?

Unless otherwise noted, one amenity per "relationship".

In other words, if you are in the stateroom with another D+ guest, not linked to you, you would each get your own amenity.

If you are in the stateroom with your husband, you are penalized.

Is it one amenity per stateroom, or can my husband and I each select something different?

There appears to be several amenities available in the upper tiers.

Emerald, D, D+ and P 'Welcome Gift/Amenity including choice of beverage' (5)

...and

D+ and P 'Personalised Gift/Amenity' (9)

The footnotes suggest the first is per member and the second per household.

Is this correct?

Also I see there is a 'Chef's Choice Gift/Amenity' also available to D, D+ and P members which doesn't have a foot note.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Footnotes:

(5) Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will receive a pre-selected welcome gift/amenity on day one of their sailing. The pre-selected gift/amenity will consist of a snack and drink which will be placed in the guest's stateroom. The guest will also be able to go online or call one of our Loyalty Representatives in their local offices to pre-select from a list of drinks to be included with their welcome gift. One drink can be selected per guest 18 years of age or older. Preferences must be entered or updated for your upcoming cruise holiday up to five days before a US-based sailing and 7 days for an internationally-based sailing. The beverage selection list for Emerald and Diamond members will include water, juice and soft drink items. In addition to the previous list, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will be able to select certain beers, a house red wine, house white wine or house sparkling wine. If a guest has not selected an item then bottled water will be sent to the stateroom. House brands of alcohol may be substituted or changed upon available inventory.

(9) The guest may choose one bonus gift per household from a pre-selected list of amenities. No bonus gift will be delivered on sailings of less than 3 nights. Only one bonus gift will be delivered on sailings between 3 and 6 nights. All orders need to be placed up to 5 days before a US-based sailing and 7 days for an internationally-based sailing. If no selections are made before the time prescribed above, then no order will be placed. Orders and/or substitutions cannot be placed on or after boarding day. All Diamond Plus members can go into the secure Crown & Anchor section of the website and select their preferences and keep them up to date; or, Diamond Plus members and their travel agents can contact a Loyalty Specialist within 14 days of their departure to select an amenity and arrange timing for delivery to either their stateroom or dining room .

Each person will get their choice of beverage with the Welcome Aboard Bag of shortbread cookies and almonds. You can select your beverage on the C&A page and the selection depends on C&A level.

The Special Amenity that D+ ad PC Members receive is 1 per cabin. You can get up to 3 amenities depending on point level. The amenities start at 175 then 350 and finally 525.

The Chef's Amenity is something delivered to your cabin on any given night. What is delivered depends on the Chef and his mood of the day.

I sure hope my wife doesn't feel that way when we go on a cruise together.

Yes, I know I took your comment out of context. :D

Not any more.

Wifey and I had different cabins on the Quantum in May and we were told it is not only one per stateroom but also one per household.

Pete

Wonderful.

D is cookies. D+ and PC is almonds and cookies.....unless they deliver the wrong ones[emoji6]

We've also received the mini-shortbread cookies on our last couple of cruises as Emerald, and a couple bottles of water.

I don't even think we ate the cookies the last time. So if we're Emerald (and then Diamond the next week), we can each choose water, juice or pop, but would receive only one bag of cookies?

Correct, every guest, Emerald and above, gets their choice of welcome abord beverage. At D+, beer and wine are added to the choices.

It´s one beverage each but only one bag of cookies for both.

"At Royal Caribbean, we care about your loyalty, and since caring is sharing, your loyalty means you'll be sharing too!"

At this rate we'll soon be wistfully reminiscing about when a cabin used to get more than one glass, pillow, towel and washcloth per cruise ...

We got 2 amenities for 2 cabins on Liberty this May. My (adult) kids were in the other cabin. They also gave us a beach towel and the note called it a 'C&A giveaway'.

Two bags of those cookies should go under the category of cruel and unusual punishment. They must be high in fiber though, because they taste like cardboard.;)

Last time I looked, you couldn't choose anything on the C&A page. ;)
