I thought you had one of those new Oceanviews on Deck 3?

Chef's Table -- Was it advertised on board? What did it cost, and how many people do you need to set this up?

Holding the CC party on a port day will always result in poor attendance. That was a very port-intensive cruise.

Glad you had a great time.

Glad you're having a great time, Lois! How did your Qsine experience compare to our evening on Eclipse? Janet and I still talk about it!!

Would love to hear more about the Chef's Table!! We love it on Princess and Carnival!

Have a safe trip home! Enjoy the end of the cruise!!!

Lisa :-)

Glad you are having a great start of your cruise.

Hope you loved Qisine as much as we did. What a wonderful, different was to serve food, and the taste, to me, was as good as the presentation.

Had to go back for a second time, as there were certain items, that we would not try a second time, and items that we needed to try for the first time, and then the steak......melt in our mouths......we had to try again!!;)

Lois, Glad you are enjoying the Summit. I have been on the ship 3 times and going back next September. Love the Summit. :) Feels like home.

My DH and I are in Cabin 8147. 8145 is across from a service door and I understand that door bangs and disturbs the people in 8145. Was wondering if the noise will effect 8147. I have tried to ask the question before and haven't gotten an answer.

One other thing, are you having Elite Lounge hours on this trip. Some people have made the comment that there are so many elites on TA trips they have suspended the evening lounge times and giving elites 2 or 3 coupons a night to get drinks at any bar.

Thanks!!!

Please tell me about the Summit Promenade deck. What deck number is it? I gather it does not wrap around. I love sitting out under the lifeboats and walking on this deck. Are there any chairs on this deck? What type? Are they comfy? Is the deck wood?

I am looking at booking this ship and have just starting trying to figure things out.

Hope you are having a great time.

Hi folks, home now.......I felt like the service and food were both

great:)

Wine-O, I ended up with a balcony. I originally did book one of the

new windows but for 200 bucks I picked the balcony;)

And yes, I know it is a very port intensive cruise. I still think having

the CC gathering on that very first morning is an error in judgment.

(just my opinion). There were only 6 people who showed up:rolleyes:....

with about 8 or 9 officers......

Will check in later in the week as I am moving to a new place tomorrow:D

Hope your move goes well, Lois. Glad you had a great cruise! Look forward to hearing more about your trip. Ger and I are leaving for Hawaii on Monday so we'll hear more about your trip when we get back in 2 weeks!

Enjoyed watching you sail in from the beach at Frenchman's Cove and following you out on the sunset sail of the Cat.

Chef's Table.......it was offered at check in at the pier and they

also had a menu and there were 3 couples, me and 2 officers.

So 9 of us. I have no idea how many you "need" but it is definitely

not a large group. It was 280.00 per couple and 199.00 for a single

but since I did not want the cookbook they issued me a credit of

59.95.

Again, I know it was port intensive and have sailed this same

itinerary before and they held the CC gathering at 5:00pm and was

very well attended.....30 or 40 people....so they have done it at

more convienent times.......

Hi, can't help you with the cabin/noise question. I was on deck 7

and it was fine.:)

Elite lounge on this cruise was like it has always been........held in

Michael's from 5-7.

Breakfast was set up in Normandie.
