New Pitbull music video "Freedom" is a big NCL commercial

Was I the only person identifying parts of the ship?

"Hey, that's The Haven...that's The Manhattan Room...they're on deck 17..."

I was doing that... and of course it is a commercial. It is to promote the "Free at Sea" slogan launch of NCL. There is no secret or mystery about that.

Why I am feeling that this Pittbull clip is part of FDR's mid life crisis and not a commercial for a family cruise line? ;)

I never ever saw more than 3 attractive women on one and the same NCL ship, let alone in small bikinis on the helo pad.

On topic: not a catchy tune, have seen that bow/bridge angle on Happy, dismissed. :)

He seems to have left out all of the old folks in walkers and scooters and chain smokers in the casino.

LOL, I actually had the same thought when I first saw the NCL TV commercial featuring this song... :p The video paints a somewhat unrealistic video of your typical cruise ship clientele.

Also not pictured: chair hogs, the buffet, lines, etc. ;)

I liked it as well. Just one side of the cruise demographic they are trying to reach. This is the type of commercial they will show to the guys like on ESPN etc. Of course there will be a different commercial spot to attract another demographic say like on OWN. I like Pitbull so as a Pitbull fan this spot attracted me. I am already booked on the Escape but it just made me that much more excited seeing it. To each his own.:D

agreed. It's not a video dedicated to his song. It's a song/video dedicated to the NCL commercial. He is the "Godfather" of the ship so what's wrong with that.

I'm not huge Pitbull fan, but I don't dislike him either and so far I think all the promos/publicity has been entertaining and mutually benefits both Pitbull and NCL.

By the way, sailed once on Escape and LOVED it. Booked for my 2nd trip this December (2016) :)

What a joke. So, if you're a "millennial" who only cares about "you", NCL is your "thing"? Makes me sorry we booked our first NCL cruise later this month. I expected better from the guy who founded the upscale lines Regent and Oceania.

Well excuse us non elite cruisers. Maybe you should go back to a high class cruise line and leave us low class to NCL.
