Vision westbound to Miami?? She has been promised to Galveston for the winter season. So something that leaves Miami and swings way south before ending up at Galveston?

I believe Vision is schedule for dry dock in 2018. She will probably go after TA and dead head to Galveston

Ah ha - I see about the little Roll Call blunder - I've finally gotten used to how CC is organized, but it took me a while. I know people who never develop a comfort level and steer clear (DH is one of those). After his pneumonia last fall, he worked hard to rebuild strength and has done great, so we've been able to live mostly "normal" lives the last couple of months. However he started a new chemo about 2 weeks ago and it's knocked him down again. The doc took him off it and now he'll focused on getting back to where he was. Next week I'll be watching for some 2019 winter escapes to the Caribbean. What about you?
Life is never allowed to be too easy, eh? We hope he can get back up to snuff soon.

We are not able to do more than one trip per year; Brenda is now retired but I have another 5+ years to go (with no time off for good behavior unless we try an international living dot com type of idea). Good luck with your next bookings, though it hardly seems like you need any re: booking cruises!

August 26 - Sept. 11 16 nights Copenhagen to Boston. Copenhagen, Skagen, Oslo, Stavanger, Lerwick/Shetland, Akureyri, Isaf Jordur, Reykjvik (overnight), Halifax, Boston

I paid $8217.62 for a GS (Casino rate).

Awesome itinerary and great price for 16 nights with so many ports.

That does sounds like a great price and an even better itinerary. Congrats.

I just booked JS 1100 coming back to the US on Brilliance Sept 1st...[emoji41]

Take care of it......lol

Overall I booked 5 TAs in 2018 (Aft corners).....now I just got to figure out which ones we'll be doing. Feels like I've been on the phone with that poor rep for hours.

Thanks to Everyone for the heads up!!

If you don't like the rules...try to get them changed.

We both were on the Rhapsody TA that got cancelled and we had to scatter. We got lucky that we found out as Royal was releasing the TAs and could still get a nice cabin. Maybe not so lucky next year....and I like it on my terms.

I haven't been cruising that long and I've had 3 cruises taken away from me by Royal for charters or Royal's incompetence. They still may take them....but I'm ready.

When I decide which to take I always go on the roll call of cruise I'm not going on and ask if anyone would like the corner aft. It always goes to a great couple.

I am doing my first TA this year, but we were booked on the 2012 transatlantic on (not 100 % sure about the ship) Serenade/Brilliance Southampton to Boston. I ended up cancelling due to medical reason. I was pretty active on the roll call, maybe that's where you remember me from. Here's the link:

With RCL you always need to have a backup plan or 2, or 3:)

See you in Queensferry. We live in Kinghorn and look onto the Forth and see the ships coming and going. We will be in the Hawes for a drink

Just booked Brilliance TA April 5th-20th 2018 in a GS at the same price as a JS, would like to do the following cruise but doesn't seem to show anywhere. Next one showing is on 1st of May.

BR should be due a dry dock in 2018.
