How do you get the OBC applied to your reservation? Mine was made through a TA. Did those of you who already got the credit applied book direct with Princess? When I look at my booking on the Princess web site I don't see any reference to the OBC. I have emailed my TA to ask that she get me the Landmark sale OBC but have not heard back yet.

Are you looking under the Payments and Credits area of the personalizer? The OBC should show there. Hopefully your TA will get back to you soon. If they aren't responsive you should look for a different TA. You can always transfer the booking to someone else if not satisfied with the current TA. When did you book the cruise? This promo just came out today. If you booked earlier you would have to lose any previous perks in order to take advantage of this sale and also have to pay whatever the current price which might be higher than if you have booked prior to the promo.

I looked there, OBC is $0.00. I booked on March 19 this year. I have no previous perks on my reservation. My total fare is $135 less than what it shows on the Princess web site. The higher Princess fare with $500 OBC for 2 pax applied would come out better for me.

Ahhh... Then you need to rebook and take the new promo. If your TA gets back to you it should be quick and easy. Things like this are one reason I make my own bookings and don't transfer to my TA until just before final payment. I can immediately jump on anything that is advantageous without having to go through an intermediary.

When final payment is almost up me I tell him what I'm paying and ask what kind of price he can give me. (It seems to be about 8% less than the Princess price which is good enough for me.) He responds with an email so I have it in writing and then I transfer the booking to him. In case of later offers such as an upsell he contacts me immediately. Extremely on top of things and responsive.

I take it a Future Cruise Deposit would work in lieu of the 10% required deposit?

Quoted of a certain Booking Confirmation:

"Future Cruise Credits cannot be used towards payment

of deposit (excluding Future Cruise Deposits).

Sounds like you're OK, at least to the value of the deposit.

Jumped on early this morning to grab a TA next fall. We got the $1,000 OBC plus our stacked OBC for a total of $1,510 OBC. I have followed the fare for the last week or so and there was no change until after we booked and noticed it went up $100/pp.

I booked a Baltic Heritage cruise yesterday for May 2019 with a b2b Norwegian Fjords cruise. I received double the onboard credit as a solo. Used my FCD as the deposit for Baltic Heritage and received the additional OBC. 10% deposit on the Norwegian Fjords cruise. I’ve been wanting to go on both of these cruises for some time and happy to be able book them b2b.

It looks as though the ‘3 for free’ has a very different meaning here in the UK..

The three are: A voucher for a speciality restaurant (date and time pre-assigned by Princess); a bottle of wine for each passenger; shore excursion credit of $100pp on cruises of 7 to 13 days and $200pp for cruises of 14+ days.

I heard back from my TA this morning and she got the $500OBC added and I kept the attractive low fare she offered, lower than what shows on Princess.

Do we know if this OBC is refundable or not? I would be hard pressed to spend $500 on a 7 day cruise as I never use Princess shore excursions. TA says it is use it or lose it OBC.

Yes, it says right on my booking summary that it is nonrefundable.

Last December I had my travel agent make two bookings for a 15 day Princess connoisseur escorted cruise tour. The bookings were for adjacent cabins for the cruise portion. One cabin booking used future cruise deposits as the down payment. The other cabin deposit was paid by credit card for 10% of the cruise/tour fare.

There were no special perks offered for these bookings other than the "launch savings" of $50 per person.

Yesterday I asked my travel agent to see if we could get the Landmark Sale for the Alaskan cruise tour with the stipulation that we be able to keep the same cabins. I told her that I was willing to pay the $50 per person higher fare shown on the Princess website as well as the 10% deposit on the one booking made with Future Cruise deposits.

A little later yesterday my travel agent forwarded new confirmation sheets from Princess for both bookings.

The booking numbers were the same as the original bookings. The fares were the same as the original bookings. The cabins were the same as the original bookings. The deposits were the same as the original bookings. The only difference between the new confirmations and the original ones was the addition of $500 onboard credit and a statement that the special promotion is not combinable with other promotions nor with Princess eZAir discounts and the onboard spending money is not refundable or transferable.

Three thoughts:

• Gratuties can eat a chunk of it for you.

• You can eat another chunk of it at the Crown Grill.

• Would you take a Princess excursion if it were free?

Well my August, 2019, European TA cruise was not on the Landmark Sale yesterday, but it was today! Yeah! So for 6 minutes of wait time and about 2 minutes with a Princess rep. I got the $1000 OBC offered. Since I had already booked with 10% refundable deposit was no problem rebooking. Only difference (since no fare reduction-phooey) was the addition of the OBC. But if you look at it, it covers my $696 gratuities and leaves basically, $150pp OBC to spend. And with a possible Princess tour and some photos and some souvenirs, I won't have to worry that it is non-refundable as it will be all gone, believe me! Grin. So this is a pretty simple but pretty good sale. Now I will be looking over the next 15+months for hopefully a fare reduction....... or two........ or three?

Just moved one of my booked cruises to the current promo. Kept the same booking but added $200 OBC each. Nice! However, when I called the first person said it was $75 each OBC as we are in an OV. I said that is definitely not what is advertised and that my email and all of their online promo stuff clearly showed $200 per person for inside and OV cabins.. She kept telling me that was correct so I got escalated.

The next person said I was right about the OBC but the room had gone up. I said that I was looking at the web site at that moment and the price was exactly the same. She kept saying it was $150 more per person and I kept saying it wasn't. I told her I was making a booking for the same category cabin, in the same block of cabins, 6 cabins further forward and it was the price I had booked at. She finally clicked on that cabin and was surprised to find I was correct. I had to go on hold yet again but it finally got sorted. Sheesh... The Princess IT team strikes again. I swear they hire failed Walmart greeters to work in their IT department.

It was a hassle but well worth the effort and I was calm and polite throughout. An extra $400 in OBC is quite welcome. I only wish I could move my Northern Lights cruise to this promo. I "could" do it but the cabin has gone up by the same amount I would get in OBC so it would be a total wash. I'll keep an eye out for a price drop but I really doubt that will happen.

I've come to realize that what the Princess reps are looking at on their screens is not what is sometimes on the interwebs..;p

What?!? You're telling me they're actually looking at their screens? :halo:

I saw that too, not very exciting compared to the ‘3 for free’ in the US

Have you noticed today, they have pricing in US dollars and the ‘Landmark’ sale is being shown on the uk site.....somebody has pressed the wrong button !!

You were being very generous with that statement in my opinion.

It is a hassle, or it was until I started letting my travel agent do all the contact with Princess. I am glad you got the OBC.

I'll move it to my TA shortly before final payment. He will then give me a discount off the price - likely 8% or so. I know some folks get more but this works for me.

This offer doesn’t include our November 2019 cruise & hopefully our interior cabin will be included in a future offer such as 3 for Free.

Bummer. Have you tried looking at a new booking to be sure? Our November 4, 2019 cruise is included but the promo didn't show on our booking. I had to look at the cruise as a new item before the promo showed up and then I called Princess and changed the booking to include the OBC.

What is the extra OBC for booking onboard? Does it depend on length of sailing and cabin category?
