Hello All, We will be purchasing a case of water beforehand. 24 pack will be to much water and 12 pack will not be enough. What is the price plus i assume a gratuity for a one liter bottle if purchased on board The Jade?

TY!

I believe it's $3+.  The water from the tap or machine in the buffet is very good for drinking.  Just bring a refillable water bottle. Use a glass to refill due to sanitary reasons.

I pre ordered the 12 1 liter bottles to be delivered to our cabin it was $33.54 (that includes tax and gratuity). A lot of people complain about the price but compared to what the airport charge I don't think it's too bad and considering they are liter bottles.

Yes as i stated purchased on board.

You actually stated that you were going to purchase a case beforehand, not on board. You then asked the price to purchase a single bottle on board. That's what confused me.

I believe that your estimate is too low, and that a 1 litre bottle of water on board is somewhere between $4.50 and $5.00  + 20% gratuities (if I remember correctly).

To OP: It is also possible to purchase a 6-pack of 1- litre water bottle (not only the larger 12- or 24-pack). Price for a 6-pack is $17.94 incl. gratuities.

This is what I did for our cruise next year.

If you are a gambler, they will give you water in the casino. Whenever I order a drink, granted I always have the drink package, I also order a bottle water.  Every time.  At the end of the night, I just take the left over waters to the cabin.  They are smaller than ones you would buy but they get the job done.

I thought bottles of water are not included in the drink package?

The airports charge more than that for 1/2 liter. Lucky for you that you aren't required to buy bottled water.  Myself, I will pay $3.50 a day to have bottled water in my room. I know it's a little extravagant but hey I'm on vacation.

My  math was wrong, only $2.80 a bottle.

I noticed Norwegian changed the image they use for the bottled water from Aquafina to what looks like a house brand water.  Has anyone actually observed a change in product onboard or is it just to give them flexibility in brand provided?

Thank you all. To clarify I am aware that you cannot bring your own water onboard. We will be on a 11 day Panama cruise. So my conflict is do I pre purchase the 12 pack and not have enough or go with the 24 pack and probably have to much. I’m leaning towards the 24 pack. I thought if single bottles were reasonably priced I could pre purchase the 12 pack and buy single bottles while on board.

As for the ships water it bothers my sensitive stomach so that wouldn’t work. Thank goodness the ice in the drinks I can tolerate.

When we were on the Pearl in Feb they were selling the bottles at the buffet, seemed to be around the same price I had paid for the bottles delivered to the room. And 24 liter bottles take up quite a bit of room.

Just off the Gem....I was very surprised to find that the NEW bottled water is "NCL Ultra Premium"...and it is NOT spring water...but rather "purified still water" !!!!!   Glad I was not paying for it.  I am wondering if the actually bottle it onboard with ship water...I surely doubt they pay to bring it in..

I received 2 bottles in room (Platinum Plus) and yes...got them free in casino.  All were...the small size..In the past , the ones in room were liter size.

Not sure but I always get one and am never charged for it.  Might be free with the casino drink card?

Bottled water (and Red Bull) are covered under the casino drink card, not under the UBP.
