It is VERY new, I am looking forward to using it while on board the Spirit as we have so little free Internet time.

 

It is a pity that the free Internet time for Latitude guests is the same whether you are on a 7 day or 22 day cruise!!

Has anyone used this?  Can you log into your CC account and post, or is it only available as a guest?  I would imagine that since NCL wants reviews, login might be possible?

On the Breakaway last month I could access the www.cruisecritic.com website when connected to the ship's wifi but not logged into my included 250 minute plan. I could not access the boards, I got the spinner of death and timed out.

 

In a thread a few weeks ago someone said they could access the boards, so perhaps it was just the Breakaway, or my device or who knows.

Can confirm,  I could access the NCL boards on the Gem in January. It was painfully slow of course, which might be what you experienced.

Confirmed, I had no issue accessing cc message boards via mobile device on Breakaway in January.

Free access to cruise critic, logged in, was available on the Jade, Dubai to Singapore, in Nov/Dec 2019.

 

Like the on board access to ncl.com it's too frustratingly slow to use most of the time.

We had Cruise Critic on the Getaway.  It was a person with a microphone asking a couple questions, how they like their cruise so far, ect. I went right by the interview process/people. I never saw the  CC person after that.

ditto, the spinner of death, was looking for something to kill a little time during 29 day cruise, it did not work for me.
