P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

We have been trying to book an excursion or two on this cruise but  they have said they are full for months.  We go in to it every few days but to no avail.

 

I'm not planning to get off much on this one.  Just a bit of rest and relaxation, hopefully  a bit less pain everywhere.  Seeing pain man Tuesday but whether he can help we are not sure, but it is his speciality.  I saw him a while back  but unfortunately he  cannot prescribe  drugs in in the strength required.     Hopefully he will point me in the right direction.

 

I have the Plus Package so it could be champagne all the way!!!!!🤣 That's my plan anyway.....

My American and Canadian friends on HAL and RCL never make uncomplimentary comments about photos.

Spain deserved to win but the time wasting,faked injuries, getting opposition players booked was like watching the worst of men's football.

I hope you have a wonderful time regardless of if you stay on board or go ashore.  Fingers crossed that the pain man finds a way to help you and that will be an added bonus for you as you set off on your cruise.

on sharing such a lovely occasion as your anniversary ??

I'm forever complaining  to the Mrs about forever showing me  photos of Fish and Chips ....

A stupid name to give the Grandkids anyway 😉

Just carry on mate never give up ,I nearly did when I played triangle in a reggae band ..

It was just one ting after another 🤣

I have to say you should not under estimate yourself.  Everyone, no matter who, is equally important be it on this thread or elsewhere on the forum.  If everyone thought someone else was more important than they are there wouldn't be many people on any thread.  

 

Your opinion, no matter on what, is equally as important as the next man's and you shouldn't feel guilty.

 

It is very sad that one post is leading to people who are good friends to feel they shouldn't post and the whole point of this thread is at risk of undermining itself by accident. Time for everyone to take a deep breath, shake hands (metaphorically) and move on.

The weather in Stornaway is changeable so take layers and light water proofs. 
 

The scenery is stunning, you can poke a stick at nice views.

 

Lewis Castle is walkable from the port but don’t get too excited, it is more like a home than an actual castle but does have some really interesting flora in the grounds.

 

There  is (or at least was) a really good Harris tweed retailer half way up the road to Lewis Castle. You can get amazing authentic (look for the the little image.png.1eaba5a99dddc7dcf15a68b970106688.pngsymbol on  for authentic goods on everything form jackets to handbags.

It's amazing how ovens have progressed over the years Bob .

I remember our old gas oven , on a Sunday our fresh chicken from the farm would take 

ages to cook !

The chicken kept blowing the flames out 😉🤣
