Sorry - forgot all about the Midlands, which probably got ITV not long after London.  I know it was rather later in the Anglia region, but they did have a splendid theme, with a knight on a horse!

Have you forgotten Muffin the Mule!!😁 I can also remember watching Dixon of Dock Green on my Grannies TV, it had a weird screen that magnified the picture.

Me too. Gran had a TV like that and we'd watch Charlie Chan.  Strange when you look back to when TV programmes were broadcast for a few hours each evening, and ending with the National Anthem and the disappearing dot.
