P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

Very sad about Captain Tom, like many of you when I heard the family were with him I thought that meant bad news was coming.

As regards his family actually being there, he lives with one daughter and her family. The other daughter was on FaceTime, how sad that must of been for her.

Graham, I posted on New Vaccine - wrong thread. The message is the same though: good luck for today and take care of yourself while you recover. Best wishes. Jane.X

Thank you Jane.

Hopefully you have nicer people at your vaccine hub today.

Graham x.

Thanks so much Ann. I really appreciate your care for us all. It's like a mini roll-call for the Good (Jean), the Slightly Unwell But Will be Better Soon (Graham) and The Wimp (Me of course!). I couldn't find any alternatives to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly so this will have to do! Talking of roll-calls, I checked with Princess yesterday but the price is still £2,600 so I'm holding off for now and will keep watch. Best Wishes. Jane.x

This reminded me of our late family dog Domino.

We have two dogs who who think our food is their food!! We have golden retriever and a cavalier King Charles spaniel who incidentally thinks our bed is her bed and our sofa is her sofa!!

Thank you Lindy for your good wishes.

I hope your daughter gets her appointment soon.

Pauline will drop me off and I will ring her when I am ready to come home.

Sorry to hear you got a couple of tickets when you were there.

When I went for pre-op I parked on Queen Alexandra Road about 40 metres from the entrance as there is no yellow lines along most of the road.

Graham.

You must be almost ready for setting off now Graham. I know all will be fine and I'll be thinking about you. Look for the prettiest nurse to hold your hand and soothe your fevered brow😉I promise I won't tell Pauline. Take care and we'll chat later.

I bet with a name like Domino he could "spot" a pizza a mile off :classic_wink:

Catch up with you later Graham, hope you get a right pretty nurse,

a stunner ! You will spot them easy enough ,they carry cattle prods

and tasers around with them .:classic_unsure:  Take care .

Good luck with the Op Graham. With all that you have been through over the last few years, I’m sure that this will be a comparative walk in the park for you! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
