Your photos are absolutely stunning.  What a great location to be babysitting.  Thank you for sharing them.  Lovely photo of your son & DIL too.

My daughter arrived in London yesterday.  First full day was spent at Hampstead Heath swimming.  Hopefully the heatwave eases soon.

Thanks, though not nearly as good as your lovely photos .

We have an extra day with Isaac today as he has got croup. He seems well enough but can't go to nursery. Currently at the park feeding the ducks before it gets too hot.  We were going to have our first of the season overnight stay on the boat but plans change....

Hope your daughter has  a fab time in the UK, weather looks pretty good for the next week in so.  Do you have family in the UK?

Well, my Pennsylvania grandson was disappointed he missed the baseball playoffs, due to being away on their family vacation.  His team capped off their excellent season by winning the championship last night.  Evidently, there were championship rings involved.

I guess he has to be satisfied knowing that his efforts, as well as the entire team efforts, let them reach that.

Meantime, he had to be happy to enjoy his new experiences on vacation.

I have one elderly Aunt in Exeter that my dad calls every Sunday at 7pm.  He was telling me last night that the international phone cards he uses to call his sister are unfortunately being phased out.  Dad also has a cousin and many friends in the UK.  My late mum’s brother & extended family are in Surrey.

My DD and 3 Australian friends are in England for Glastonbury.  After 6 years of trying they finally got tickets.  My daughter’s best English friend is joining them at Glastonbury.  They met whilst her friend was on a working visa in Sydney.   Pleased to hear  the weather forecast is good as the four girls will be camping at the festival.

Hope little Isaac feels better soon.

Ice Plant Bar does not take reservations so we had about a 45 minute wait at the bar before a table was ready for us. This restaurant was the highlight of the food this weekend. Hands down delicious.

I asked them to make something with banana, shaved ice, and coconut rum. It tasted like dessert.

She's a model and I think she was gifted the dress by the designer on the understanding they would send a photographer and use some of the photos

It is a great ruin and spectacular views. We had a date to meet up with everyone for one last meal before we flew back the next day so we couldn't linger, but there's a nice cafe in the grounds overlooking the bay

Once on the ship I know we put our phones in airplane mode.  Do we need to also turn off data?

Airplane mode turns off data, wifi, as well as the transmitters for phone calls. Think of it as a master kill switch. You can either turn off airplane mode to reactivate everything, or you can turn things on individually. So if you want to connect to the ship's wifi turn on airplane mode then reactivate your phone's wifi.

HAPPY FIRST  BIRTHDAY MISS LIZZY.

I remember when you were first adopted.

That cute pretty kitty has grown up to be a lover girl with attitude.

You enjoy sitting on laps, playing with pipe cleaners, and climbing up on our dresser to admire yourself in the mirror.

But you have the most fun setting off house alarm.

You make our life a complete family.

Here’s to many more.

Good afternoon.

It is another cloud free, sunny day and 78°F.

I hope everyone is well.

The crash in Canada this morning was awful with multiple deaths.

Take care and stay safe friends.

Graham.

Yes, another tragic loss of multiple lives on the road.

Enjoy your cruise! What is your itinerary?

Would love to see some pictures when you get back.

We are taking Grandeur out of Tampa.  It goes to Cozumel, Roatan, Belize and Costa Maya.  I will try to post a little on the cruise and will have pictures and comments when we get back.  We are staying at the Holiday Inn Fairgrounds tonight.  Getting a late start waiting for a storm to go by.
