Any Tom Jones fans here?  My friend and her husband saw him perform this week.  At 83 he was in fine form and fine voice They were very impressed.

My favorite Tom Jones song is What’s New Pussycat that he recorded when he was 25.He has had a long career.

For those who might want to come down a night earlier, 10 rooms added to the hotel block a night earlier. Bella 2.0

"FYI, I just had 10 rooms added for the night of the 31st if anyone was coming down 2 days early."

Is that 10 rooms added to your condo?

Where is the info for the night before Bella 02 hotel block?  I got no notification and even asked our in-house TA about it a few days ago.

It’s posted on the FOB FB page.

Beautiful photos Helen. Looks like an amazing trip so far. I think I would have to pass on the green tea soft serve. Did you try it?

I do not say this to be controversial or offensive or create a debate, just purely a suggestion:

Instead of using FB, I wish Bella 2 cruise info would also be posted on Bella 2 Cruise Roll Call or someone would copy the postings on CC roll call (like Jane did some. Thanks). Please?

Not everyone wants to join FB.

And after all, didn't we all meet on CC and are still going on?🥰

He posted it there because the Roll Calls that Graham started were deleted by CC. I don’t know if they were restarted. I also don’t think he wanted to publish a group rate for others who are not members of the Friends of Bella group.

This is not directed at you personally, Greg.  It would have been helpful if someone posted to check FOB FB page when it was posted.

I can totally understand but it does leave non FB CCers out of the loop.

My husband has been there to visit (when my son was in university).

DH was also at least 7 times in Tokyo and Kyoto for work (and he's not at all keen to return, given the long flight).

"Somehow", the Japanese took a "shine" on him, and, after his first visit, asked only that he will be sent.

As a "compensation" for leaving me with 2 small kids for weeks at a time (we were living in Brussels then, and I had not much aid from parents and friends), the Japanese sent me every time a pearl necklace....

Rolls calls are there. I have been reading. Didn't know about deletion.

That's why I also reposted it here, and figured people would know who to contact. Cross posting the information. Yesterdays post said it was 2 hours old when I first saw it, but I brought it here anyway, even though clearly a lot already saw the post. Cross posted the info. Not promoting anything. Just informational.

Let me know what you do.

Greg, I just booked the Towneplace Suites that Ken so kindly blocked for us all. Now I've got to go and cancel my Hampton room.  Price came to $301.28 total.😉

Good for you. We still haven’t booked anything yet. Need to check with my son to see if he wants to stay with us in a larger room or get his own.

I had my post surgical appointment with my "hernia" surgeon.  All systems go to return to my usual activities.  I just need to stay away from moving heavy furniture. 🤨

Good for you, Bonnie!  You must be doing your "happy dance" (though not too quickly!)

I was worried before I went to Japan that I wouldn’t find enough to eat (!!!), mainly because I don’t eat fish much. Don’t know what I was thinking!

The food was great, the people so polite, and the bullet train was so smooth we couldn’t tell how fast we were going.
We passed Mt Fuji between Kyoto and Tokyo, but clouds obscured it.
I wish I could go again; Japan was beautiful.

@dani negreanu Congratulations on still having the best group on CC!

I have been too busy to comment often, but I try to keep up!

I often think of you and your family and friends. I hope this sad time will be over before too much longer.

@DaniDanielle How is Charlie doing?  Did you get his MRI results back?

Good news.  Slight tear in shoulder, therapy suggested.  He also has two slight fractures near the shoulder that are healing on their own.  We are blessed!  Thanks

I am glad he doesn't need surgery.  Therapy can work wonders.  That is a weight off your shoulders.  Make sure you take care of yourself too.  I know you are a worrier. 🙂

Yep. Was just chatting to my Loyal to Royal work colleague about this. They weren’t booked on it but if they had been - she and her partner would have been delighted with the 50% off drinks offer (on top of their Diamond free drinks).

I had to laugh, I guess they think if they get you Aussies drunk enough you wouldn't care where you go. They also suggested a coat because now the ship is going south where its colder than planned. Just odd compensation, let's get everyone drunk. Never saw that before. Maybe no one will notice it's cold and not the ports planned.
