Brings back memories of the years we fostered kittens.  Many times we took tjr pregnant mom in and we gave her a safe space to have her babies.

That was a wonderful thing to do.  Plus so much fun watching them grow

The part that amazed me was we only kept one out of the probably 50+ kittens we had.  My mom adopted one of the mother cats and my sister ended up with a couple of kittens as well.

It was a well run program.  The kittens stayed with us until they were old enough to be adopted. They got socialized with people kids and our other pets.  They were adopted out on line and never spent a day in a cage, at a pet store or shelter.

We did get attached to them but when their forever family showed up to pick them up and you saw the excitement on their faces it was easier to say goodbye knowing they were going somewhere where they would be loved.

We are keeping Mom and hope to find worthy adoptees for the kittens

Not exactly a great disembarkment by Royal. None of is feeling well, but here is how it went down.

At 745am. There is a knock on our door. It's one Woman Royal Caribbean  employee. She says are you ready.

Now it's up to my Wife and to lug our 3 large suit cases and 2 back packs from our mid ship cabin 8610 to the forward elevators to go down and sit and wait.We were the first ones to arrive.

Here is where all of us will wait. It took almost an hour to round everyone up before the immigration  people came into the room..

There was about 30 people in there that were confirmed  for Covid.

Once cleared an Royal employee escorted us down to Deck 2 and dumped us out where the crew enter and exit the ship

After dumped on land it was a long walk to where Uber pick ups were at.

Granted we are in our early 60's so we managed. But it was easy. Rest of people were in wheel chairs or walkers, others were older then us.

Seems that thought just get them off the ship and they are on their own.

Learning now many more from the FB group are now coming down with covid also.

I'm wishing you the best today, Bonnie! Good luck at the dentist.❤️

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at the dentist today.  He gave me a gallon of numbing agent (needle) but one tooth is very problematic and I felt extreme pain as he was trying to pull it.  He wants me to come back tomorrow to be put under.  He said he feels sorry and that I shouldn't have to experience pain like I did. So, to be continued tomorrow.  He's a top rated oral surgeon so I am sure he knows what he's doing.

Heck we could get OTC Tylenol with Codeine (#1's) until around 2017 give or take a couple of years

When I was a kid in NYC, I remember our local pharmacist always took splinters out of our fingers.  Can you imagine that happening now?

I never heard of Tylenol with Codeine.  I've only encountered prescription Tylenol 3.  More times than I care to remember.

I always ask to be put under for any major dental work .

Sorry this happened to you. It’s why I don’t like dentists.

Yep, I will gladly pay the extra $300 or so that my dental plan doesn't cover to have no memories of the proceedure.

I have used up the 1500 of dental insurance I have , might put off the procedure until January, we also have a health account that at least pays medical and dental bills before taxes.

Tylenol 1 is about 1/ the strength of Tylenol 3

Tylenol 1 had 8 MG of codeine, 2 has 15mg, 3 has 30mg and 4 has 60mg.

Debbie, at least now you know what work and what doesn't. My problem with painkillers is that they hardly work on me, honest!  I took hydrocodone after my ankle surgery and it hardly made a dent.  I was given morphine when I cracked my femur bone and hardly felt any relief.  Tramadol?  Like eating M&Ms.

I'm leaving soon to have 2 teeth extracted.  Not looking forward to the after pain.  I can't take Motrin, Aleve etc. because of my kidney issue.  Oy!!!

Hi Bonnie,  I hope all went well with your extractions today and the pain is bearable.  🥰

Suggestions on Serenade aft balconies:

Deck 8 or 9, any particular cabin #s?

Thanks.

We always enjoy the extended balconies on deck 7 aft.  I know a lot of people don't like because they feel they are not as private as others but we hardly saw our neighbors.

We were just in cabin 7660.20230913_085313.thumb.jpg.59423c87be4d1d1ac50d9e2ab8038a00.jpg

If you go with deck 8 or 9 you definitely want to avoid this crew ladder obstruction on starboard side.  I think it may be on port side too20230913_085325.thumb.jpg.bb2ed80af8b2b10a9a55dbcf919112c1.jpg

I do miss that OTC Canadian Tylenol....that stuff could knock any headaches I had down to zero that regular Tylenol/Ibuprofen/Aleve could never touch.

Sorry you ended your cruise with covid Jimbo.

As we were getting off Radiance in July a couple who were masked with bags were escorted to a full elevator by masked staff.  Pretty sure they had covid.  Royal didn’t care as they were escorting them off.  I pulled DH discreetly away and waited for another elevator.  I think you’re right that they just want you off so it’s your problem now.
