Goodness, I just have a music folder on my computer which has my favorite downloaded music.  Maybe 40 songs. I have a ways to go to catch up to you. I have a few cds in my car; Barbra, Josh Groban, Carol King, Manilow....don't judge!  😄 For short car trips  I just put on an oldie station on the car radio. Jack says I never leave one station on for longer than half a song before I switch.  He could be right.

Three of your four I like.

I agree that quote you posted applies to all. My dad(Archie Bunker 🤣) thought most of us baby boobers were nothing but pot heads, listening to music that was to loud and couldn't understand any of the lyrics, couldn't dance  and we were all going to die from STDs. 🙄

Are we brothers ? My dad was Archie Bunker.😀

In 1964 (after seeing the Beatles) I started growing a lot longer. He use to call me his "he-she-it". Oh the memories...🤬

My father hated my long hair and my beard. He passed away in 1981 and in his last weeks he stopped shaving and apologized to me for all his remarks about my facial hair.

It was about a 30 minute FaceTime call .

Nice!!!!!  On a different note, DH and I had been able to watch our granddaughter play her Varsity basketball games on our TV while in Florida this Winter, and her Confirmation this past May;  we watched our grandson's Graduation last Tuesday evening also, thanks to another grandson of ours  explaining to us how to set it up.

When I was in the first grade, a girl in my class was in the "Peanut Gallery" on the Howdy Doody show.  She was right up front, with her blonde banana curls!  We were all excited to have seen her in the show.

My Brother's big day of fame was being on the Captain Kangaroo show.

So sorry.  That really sucks!  I had a good Dad...and was quite close to him.  Adored him, and since I was supposed to be a "son"...I became quite the Tom Boy.  Loved it!  Good way to grow up.  We were very close for 30 years.

Then when wife number three came on board with my Dad....my sister and I were out.  Unless we bought her gifts...wined and dined her.  I refused to submit.  Now I have no relationship with him.

Succubus from hell.  Sigh...  😞

That is sad you lost your relationship with you Dad when he remarried.

I have always been a Daddy's Girl and definitely a Tom Boy and have always loved it!

Just last weekend when my Brother was at the shore with us we had fun reminiscing about everything we did at the shore as kids.  This is where I learned how to swim, ride a bike, etc. etc. etc

and drink.......

My dad loved Archie Bunker but was far from racist, I remember him telling a story that when he was a MP in WW two , he had to escort a black soldier from Florida to New York, he got there early and took the prisoner home for a meal before returning him to army. He had some great stories as a NYC taxi driver had John Lennon and many other famous people in is taxi .

Isn't it just wonderful!!  Friends of ours in Naples would ask when Meghan was playing again, and would join us for the games in our living room.  We're so lucky to be able to do this!

I attempted to edit my response but I was unable to do so.I have a connection to Barbra and my wife has one to Barry.

Barbra lived around the corner from me in Brooklyn and Barry and my wife attended the same elementary school.

We go to table13 every Wednesday because singer Melani plays Carol King , also Carly Simon , Sinatra and others.

Carly Simon is awesome. Ever heard her song Touched By The Sun? Great song.

She lives in Martha's Vineyard. I go out there fairly often.

How did they pick kids to be on that show?  As a teen, my sister big day of fame was being on a NY TV dance party show hosted by I think Clay Cole.  I think she just sent in a request for tickets.

I'm still waiting for my big day of fame!

At least you have good memories of your dad and you have always shared your stories of him and you.

No biggie as our relationship (dad and me) was horrible for as long as I can remember. I never hung around the house much. Made for peace for my mom. When I got drafted and he found out I was headed to hell (Vietnam) he laughed. Enough of that drama. Is your sister still vacationing with you and Bucky?  🍷

Life is sweeter when made of moments like those even if they aren't in person.

I remember you mentioning that. Such wonderful talent came out of Brooklyn.

I will have to ask my Brother how he was selected.  I'm his baby sister, 4 yrs younger so I dont know the details.  I just remember seeing him on the show and hearing all about it.

I would be interested in hearing a little about your experience with PPF.  I did a little research...one option might be PPF for some areas, ceramic for others?

Your last post mentioned how important it is to find a good shop.  Someone here recommended this shop.  The link below is their page and it includes pricing...maybe you have some input on their pricing.

https://aplusautostyling.com/tesla/

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Their price seems to be comparable to around here, but being from Canada it is hard to do a dollar comparison.  They provide great quality tint and PPF.  I have not used their brand of ceramic coating but have heard of it.

I always ceramic coat on top of the PPF.  Imagine it as a team that works together.  The ceramic also provide the shine that “pops” as well as a protectant layer. One can just ceramic coat just on its own as well. I do lots of highway and out of town driving so I am prone to road rash. Add to that over a mile of gravel to get to my house from the paved road.

With knowing little about it seems worthy of a call and most likely a site visit. It seems as though they have a good presentation but forward by their website.

You might appreciate these pics from today. PPF being cut on a plotter. They only hand cut when they bulk wrap. Scott has shared horror photos of others who hand cut the PPF on the paint, and cut the actual paint.

Polishers all in a row.

This side of the ship is for tinting and PPF.  There is another side, the same size just for washing and detailing. If you look at the middle car on the right you can see the red glow of the curing lights on the car being treated.

For the EV drivers here the two white cars are Tesla’s, a Mustang EV on the bottom right and a “regular” Mazda. LOL, they all might make up for my car that was there.
