Just had my request for shareholder benefit for a Feb 23 cruise refused as the evidence of my holding is over 3 months old and yes final payment has been made 🤷‍♂️

How long did you have to wait for a response from the date of your application. I’ve applied but heard nothing back.

My Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) contract note for the relevant purchase is indeed over 3 months old, nearly a year in fact, so I get their due diligence to ensure I am a current shareholder. 
I now have to ask HL to send the proof for me.

No need for that. Just log in to your HL account and download your current statement in PDF format. This is proof of your share holding. Just blank out any non relevant items

Apologises for jumping in. I have just look at my current statement and it does show my holding and current date. It doesn't show my name and address. Am I missing something ?

Is this correct? Last time I allowed HL to apply for me and it was not a great outcome.

Address is not required.

From P&zoo website…………..

• Proof provided must include your full name, the number of carnival shares held and must be dated within the last 3 months.

 

Dont forget to include your cruise booking reference

Can you lead me me through from the HL ISA shares home page please. I can get the holding of all of my shares but there’s no name or address 🤔 Sorry to be a dullard 🤦‍♂️

Log in to your account on the HL page

Select your fund and share account

then towards the bottom of where it shows your stock you will see   option to select PDF

select the pdf and it opens showing all details required by shareholders dept..

just cross out your account number in the top right corner.

paste to your desktop or print it off.

I have my shares with a different company and my statement similarly does not display my name on the online screen, however it does have a  create PDF facility and this does display the name and address.

Applied 26th October at 11pm and had reply at 10.30 on 27th Oct!! This was for a sailing on 6th Jan 2023. I scan a copy of my pdf to them along with the following in my email..

This might look like a bit of a overkill but have always had a reply within 24hrs.

Confirmation email received today. Not quite as speedy as yours. I applied on the 27th November. Still a great response time.

You have to download the PDF version , just printing the statement doesn't show your name or date.

I just log in to my HL account and send them an email (there’s a link on the right of the page)with details of cruise number booking ref and date of travel and ask them to request the benefit for me…usually works just fine
