Ok Bnurick,

I have been following and reading every detail shared so I would like to first thank you for posting your experience.

Now you deserve a commission, we just booked a Sky Suite for August 28th! Can’t wait to get back on the seas.  We have 6 cruises booked for next year but after reading about your experience we couldn’t wait to January.

What time do you set sail out of Nassau today. Would like to watch on the web cam.

Thanks again, have an outstanding evening and safe travels home.

Cheers! 🍸

Nice post!

Curious as to the pool hours, both the main pool and solarium pool.

Was out there every morning at 530AM. Deck was ready ti go, drinks start flowing at 9am. Cocktail servers all day too

Good evening Countess5 from Fine Cut on evening #7!

First, thank you so much for the post. I’ve been pretty diligent to get things posted so everyone can read as opposed to just getting opinions or words. The best planning is when you can see the entire landscape.

Second, sorry I didn’t post when we were leaving, but we are at sea for a slow walk back to FLL.

I plan on spending some time writing up a trip review. The good, soso and bad, although there was little bad.

Like you, we booked a Dec 22, then moved to Jul 22 and now we are working on Feb 22. So I get it!

I think this thread reached 400 posts and last I looked there were a lot of views. Today we happened to have lunch next to a reporter and blogger in Nassau and I felt we gave them a good perspective on our views of things around the ship.

Cheers to you and your upcoming adventures. I called this our YOLO cruise. You Only Live Once!  😊

@bnurick Sorry your cruise is coming to an end but glad you enjoyed yourself; I know we enjoyed your posts.  Hope you come back and report on the disembarkation process and what time you got to the airport. Have a safe trip home.

Will do. Was told taxis will be waiting so it sounded normal.

Would love to hear the disembarkment process in great detail, with the first US cruise, if you make a video and post it on youtube, it may go viral.

Gotcha. Will do tomorrow.

Lastly, this thread has 52,000 views!  I hadn’t looked until tonight and am floored.  I haven’t posted since 2017 I think!

No worries on sail away, I found it and watched you sail away!

I saw on the August 28th thread another person who booked because of your thread. During these times when we are wanting to get back, threads like yours help us have more confidence in making decisions.

Thank you again.

Cheers!

I just wanted to compliment you, @bnurick, on an excellent accounting of your experience. It was concise and factual.  I followed the whole thread and appreciate your detail.  Even more so, happy you had a great cruise without incident.  We'll be on the Apex in February so if the initial sailing is any indication, things are back to pretty much normal from a cruiser's perspective.

Happy sailing.

Thank you for doing this review!  I have enjoyed every minute of it as I not-so-patiently await our opportunity to come back on board.  Looking forward also to hearing about the debarkation experience.  This stuff takes time (not to mention valuable cruise vacation time)... thank you for sharing your experience.

Hope you had a great cruise. May I ask one more question? We are on the 7/10 edge sailing, arrival time 1pm. First time on this ship and first time on celebrity in years. Can you suggest the best place to have lunch on embarkation? We are in a suite so is Luninae an option at that time frame? Would like to avoid the buffet if possible. Thanks so much!!

Maybe I missed it in previous posts, but are the procedures for disembarkation any different?  Is there still an option to carry off your own bags?  Are all of the times scheduled?  Are there any additional health checks inside the terminal?

Thanks.

Thanks for doing this thread. I read every day psyching up for our Oct cruise on the edge. We may book in September as well. We are also from Allentown. Now live in Fla. Thanks again for positivity. We all need it.

I believe Luminae is open til 130 on embarkation day. We had lunch there and our embarkation tome was 1230.

We heard that the Equinox and reflection “escorted” you from Nassau. Thanks for your posts and have safe travel home. So appreciated your taking so much of your time to inform the rest of us !!

Yes, pretty cool moment having all three ships come together and everyone celebrating the ships and cruising is back.  I think the Reflection did not make the entire trip.

Thank you. I would do Luminae. It also gives them the opportunity to learn names to faces.  The service will be a food beginning too as opposed to maybe competing for service/food.

7-8am you can carry bags off. 8-9am you get off ship. Luggage tags are numbered 1-4 for group areas.

Thank you FloaterBoat. Remember, also add a Myers floater to any painkiller in USVI. 😊

Not sure if this was asked already.  Is testing prior to debarkation for vaccinated passengers required?  If yes and there is a positive test result, are there details noted somewhere on what happens?  Quarantine?  Thanks!

There was no testing prior to disembarkation for vaccinated passengers. (There was no testing at all for vaccinated passengers except those on B2B sailings.) The CDC only requires testing to enter the US when traveling by air. I expected them to test us anyway as part of the protocols, but they didn’t,
