We got to Luminae just in time. However, they kept letting guests dine. The menu was pretty simple for them to execute on, so I don’t think it was a big issue to manage through. Also, occupancy is 40%.

Ok, smooth, but what did they do? Was vaccination status not even mentioned? Proof verified? Pretend it's Feb 2020?  Health questionnaire? Etc.... What was in any way different now from before covid?

This has been such a pleasant thread, right from the start. Full of optimism. Thanks to those on board who are letting everyone live vicariously through them. Cheers everyone and enjoy your cruise. We don't sail until late August next year, on another line😟

Did you see the OP’s response on post #145?

 

Yes. We were asked via a phone call before so they had a head count for the 5%.  They took a picture of each vaccination card and loaded it to your profile. Emails said they would review them. I also think they are available for foreign countries review for access.

I am somewhat confused about the offer to upgrade to the Indulge Package. 
 

From what I can see, it is $60 per person, per day.  So to upgrade two people the cost would be $840 ($60 per person for seven days = $420 - $420 multiples by 2 people is $840).  
 

I understand that we would then get $800 OBC ($400 per person).  
 

Could we use the $800 OBC for anything, including buying chips in the casino and then cashing those chips in?

So it’s kinda late and I’m gonna try and reply to all threads.  No one cares about sharing vaccination information on this cruise.  Maybe it changes over a period of time, but I’ve tried to stay on message with this question for days now. Literally, no one cares.  No one cares.  No one cares.  Not one single person I’ve spoken to cares to say YES I got vaccinated.  I hope this ends these comments.

Yes, assigned, but if at 40% you seem to be able to board whenever.

Thank you for this post.  I’m trying to give back to those that have posted before me.  I am enjoying this cruise and I’ll say it’s been very fun so far.

Yes, I believe they are being very serious of shenanigan possibilities.  They have their protocols and seem to be sticking to them.  More to come once we reach our first port.  I’m guessing they don’t want a bad outcome due to a cruise ship.

I’m sorry I have not done the math. However, in the for what it’s worth category, I just finished a craps session with a bunch of crazy strangers and it was a very fun evening.

No, 40% booked.  So just under 1,200 passengers.  I looked up the capacity at one point but have forgotten the number.
