Interesting collection of days.  We don't have a cat, I love story tellers and lung health is always important.

Interesting quote.

The meal sounds good, but we had chicken lasagna last night.  I'll save the recipe for another time.

Hope the drink and wine are tasty.

We were in St Petersburg on a HAL cruise many years ago, I don't know if I can find pictures.

Our Football team Sunderland are nicknamed the Black Cats.

We had a black Persian cat for 15 years when I lived with my parents.

We visited St Petersburg on a cruise from Copenhagen on Serenade of the seas and had a lovely tour of the city.

We are about to get lunch so I will post a photo later.

Good morning.  Happy Birthday Graham.  My kitty is mostly black so I'll celebrate her today.  Story tellers have a special talent.  Will pass on the meal.  Have not been to Russia, would love to see the buildings.   It's cold (for us) and dark this morning. Today will be more of the same ole, same ole.  Getting used to being a house hermit.

Prayers and toasts to our lists.  Virtual hugs to all of us.

Thank you for the last hump day Daily of October Rich.  Lots of Black Cat fans here.  A salute to Lung Health and Storytellers.  Interesting quote by Stevenson.  I've been to St. Petersburg twice, once on MS Prinsendam and the other time on a land trip.  The meal sounds nice.  My alternative is Chilled Mango Gazpacho, Chateaubriand, and Carrot Cake as served on MS Amsterdam October 27, 2017.

Good morning, Friends. Thank you for the Daily, the Lists and the Recipes.

 

I had a couple of black cats during my childhood and still think about how funny they were at times and how loving they could be.. I appreciate a good storyteller. Lung health is very important.

 

I am interested in the recipe for the future. Tonight we will have leftover salmon, it was delicious... will definitely keep the recipe as an alternate way to fix salmon.

Good morning all!

 

Just a quick visit this morning with celebratory news. Yesterday was my last follow up visit for my drug trial and hopefully my last (ever) lumbar puncture. I’ve now had 10, one diagnostic, one donation of spinal fluid for research, 5 drug doses and 3 follow ups. Also donated some blood for additional genetic testing research yesterday. Next up-possible drug that is close to being approved by the FDA, I would be in their last testing phase. I do sound like a guinea pig, but maybe all of this will help lead to a breakthrough for future patients with ALS. 
 

Crammed a lot in yesterday because I had an eye doctor visit first thing in the morning, and followed my hospital visit with a celebratory dinner-filet mignon, sea salt caramel creme brûlée and wine. Today will be a crash day; my stamina for these full days is low.

We visited St. Petersburg while aboard the Zuiderdam in 2017. It still stands out as one of our best cruises. The tour vendor that we used kept us fully occupied for the two days we were there!
