Thank you very much. I assume that there are other things here,  as I never saw this site.

Here is the link to the Princess food and dining page for specialty restaurants.  The menu PDF is a next to the description of each venue.

I thought it was horrible and sent my dish back 3 times to get cooked. As mentioned the location is also not so nice in a public area. There are some who may like it but not me. I see it going south the way  Share did.

We ate there on the Majestic Princess last September.  IMHO, it is the only specialty restaurant on Princess that is worth the extra charge.  Each of what we ordered were well executed and presented, tasted great, and clearly stood out above MDR food, as specialty restaurant food should.  One can't say the same about Crown Grill and Sabitini, which we've tried multiple times on different ships, but no longer bother to.

Yes, the location is not ideal. And if you're easily bothered by ambient noise, then that may ruin the experience for you.  But our #1 criteria for a restaurant is how the food tastes.  If the food knocks my socks off, I don't mind eating it squatting in the hallway outside the casino.

We had dinner there 3 times, on 3 separate cruises on the Majestic and LOVED it each time.  We requested a table in the back corner of the restaurant and it was much more secluded.  The food and service were A+++!

Our party of 6 went to Bistro Sur La Mer on the Enchanted Princess in March.  We all enjoyed the meal but the location is more than a little problematic.  It is an open space overlooking the atrium which means that the noise level varies with the music being played in the atrium.  We had a 6 pm reservation and the music was mostly at background level but at 8 pm another group began playing much louder and we could barely hear ourselves talk.  We noticed lots of people leaving then and very few being seated.  We left as soon as we finished our deserts.  I question the wisdom of not only the open space but also if a restaurant only open 4 (evening) hours per day is the best use of space.

So true!  Why do the bands have to be so loud?  They can adjust the volume on the bands microphones.  There is a manager who controls the music all over the ship.

Complain to the manager if it’s so loud you can’t have a conversation.  We had to as well as others on the CB.

Not saying it is a good location or a bad location, but it is advertised as a "bistro" and anyone who has been in France, or Italy, or Spain,  should know that in most "bistros" you are basically sitting outside on the street. 😉

And with lots of human traffic going by if you are seated closer to the railings and further from the windows.

From our experience the Piazza is always to loud on any of their ships. At times it's even hard to order a cup of coffee or something from the IC no less sit down to a relaxing meal.

You would have though they could have put the restaurant behind a partition of some sort.

We spent a good bit of time in Crooner on CB last week and found it to be a good spot for the music from below.  Loud enough to hear but not overpowering.

I don't recall the volume of music on the CB being as extreme as on the Royal class ships. The open design of the Piazza lets the sound fill every space completely.
