DD loves to crochet.  Other than posting here and on the roll call, what have you found to be good ways of finding good homes for these pets?

We've given out several to friends' kids/grandkids. A few to first time mommies.

My granddaughter would love these. They are so cute. She was recently on the Wonder and collected 15 ducks. Searching for ducks and trivia are her favorite things to do on the ship. I crochet, but have never attempted animals. My daughter says I should try, and I told her she needs to learn to crochet. 🤣. She already has me working on a sweater for her.

How cute!  We don’t look for ducks, but when we find them accidentally we take them home and hide them on our next cruise, on a different cruise line and ship. There has been only one we kept for ourselves, but I would want to keep one of the crocheted ducks.

This is the only one we ever kept:

Can you ask her where she found them? DW wants to try doing some herself.

Check YouTube and Amazon has kits. She can also check Ravelry and search crochet ducks.

I am one of those who cannot understand the duck fever but these are really cute.  My kids when they were younger would have loved these.  Very creative!

I am on the ship starting Oct 7! Those are so cute! I have a few I am bringing too. I have plain unicorns & some blinged out ones for crew & a couple to hide. Getting closer - so excited for this cruise!

When doing a B2B on turn around day its sad to see the cleaning staff with bags of ducks putting them in the trash.

Don’t worry about it. There is no way thousands of debarking passengers are going to miss “bagfuls” of ducks 🙄

Hoping none of them find their way into the ocean😧😧.

They don't,  they are picked up by the crew, put into large trash bags and sent for disposal with the rest of the trash.
