2018 -List of officers , concierge, hotel director etc

Anyone know who captain of the escape is now?

Mandy Jones was the cruise director on the Escape from Sept. 9 to Sept. 16.

 

Bermuda was cancelled due to Florence. We stopped at Port Canaveral and Great Stirrup Cay. Nassau was cancelled so we could go around Florence in the Atlantic coming back to NYC.

Mandy will be a great Cruise Director! Captain on Escape switches between Cotugno and Persson. Persson left on August 5. I believe it is Cotugno now.

There have been NO updates on the GEM for months :( Any news on staff?

Saw Dan Dan on the Bliss last week and said she was his assistant and was very good. Your opinion if you don’t mind.

 

 

Mandy was OK. She and her AD need to talk slower on the loudspeaker. Tough to understand them. On the big ship it was kind of difficult to see her much. The atrium is too small for the # of passengers and many events are held there. It was the first time I was on the big ship and I missed the Spinnaker Lounge and the comics doing the 18+ show in the theater. I couldn't get reservations in the Comedy Club for that. I've been on about 8 cruises and I would consider her average. My favorite was Malcolm Burn on Carnival and Pedro Serra on Norwegian. Pedro grew on me as time went on. The worst IMO: Dingo Dave. Just too goofy for my taste.

 

Speaking of comics, the best ever was Tim Kaminski.

 

This cruise where Mandy was the CD is on the Escape from 9/9 to 9/16. We were supposed to go to Bermuda, we received notification in advance the itinerary was changed to Port Canaveral, GSC, Nassau. Nassau was cancelled so we could get back on time. I'm pretty sure they knew they would have to cancel Nassau beforehand, but wouldn't tell us till we left GSC.

Sailing on the Breakaway 15 day repositioning cruise on Oct. 27. Does anyone know who the concierge will be? Thanks!

Does anyone know who the current officers are on the Norwegian Spirit? specifically the concierge? thanks!

We just left the Spirit last Thursday (Sept. 20), and the concierge during our cruise was Karin Goedecke from Germany.

Hotel Director was Armando da Silva.

Sailing on the Breakaway 15 day repositioning cruise on Oct. 27. Does anyone know who the concierge will be? Thanks!

Specifically wondering about Mario/Vuk as HD, Sawant Shilandra as Food & Bev. Dir. and Dindo as Bar Mgr. At one point I think I read here that Alvin was CD but may be a little out of date. Anyone know?

I'm also curious about where Mario will be posted as HD, in the upcoming months. Hoping he might get assigned to the Escape while we are aboard in December

Thanks. Since senior officers rotate every 4 months or so and Captains every 10 weeks approximately, hoping to get more recent info on the roster. There are some really good HD's like Mario and would love to sail with again. Ready to pull the trigger but like the other poster curious who the roster might be, especially on a 15 nighter. Breakaway Oct. 27.
