Our lucky CC members are on a true bucket list cruise - the Voyage of the Vikings. I am sure this cruise has been long anticipated and we hope that it is even more special than they are expecting. May they have 38 memorable days and, of course, we wish them safe travels, fair winds and smooth seas.

Thanks for the well wishes! This will be only my second cruise ever (the first was 14-day Alaska out of Seattle last September on the Amsterdam), a birthday present to myself. I leave home on Monday to catch an early morning flight to Boston on Tuesday, finally boarding on Wednesday. I think I remembered everything — packing for a 38-day cruise is a little different than packing for a 14-day cruise! [emoji3]

Lots of people go there still for the chicken and jojos. We also get to hear the Skagit Speedway loud and clear some weekends.

I’m going to make a point of stopping in the next time I’m in the area! Totally forgot about the Skagit Speedway!
