Taste Bar Gone?

Is The Taste Bar gone from all the ships? I saw a thread a month or so ago, but never saw any definitive answers

Noticed it was NOT on Victory a couple of weeks ago. Sailing on Vista next week...

It was there on Vista in March and they also serve a small breakfast there. Was also still on Glory in October.

It was on The Breeze last month

Okay, good! Definitely like the breakfast there - but also the quick bite in the evening. Will report back about Vista in a couple weeks

It ws on Vista over Thanksgiving.... We also ate breakfast and lunch there several times

It was empty the entire time when we cruised the Ecstasy on December 26

It was on the Elation in October, but not open on the Elation 2 months later in December.

Another cutback and fee based addition. I wonder if it will still be on the Glory in two weeks, they had a few nice samples. Oh well I'll bring my own tablecloth and rabbit ears.

It was on the Paradise in November.

When we sailed on the Sensation in September, it had been turned into a little sushi place. I was looking forward to those famous meatballs.. maybe next time!

Good. I would rather have a sushi place I can splurge and enjoy one evening than a Taste Bar that is worthless for 7 nights.

Obviously you haven't had the opportunity to eat breakfast or lunch at the Taste Bar.Great alternative to Lido Buffet area especially on Port Days when everyone seems to be eating breakfast at the same time!!

Not on Fantasy in late December.

I really liked the taste bar. If I was in the area I would get a taste before dinner. Sometimes there was also a drink special and a bar waiter walking around to take orders. I have fond memories of some things!

It wasn't there in December. The space where I assume it should have been sat empty the entire cruise.

It was on the Dream in November, right around the corner from the sushi place next to the Alchemy in Ocean Plaza.

Taste Bar was gone on Freedom on the 6 January sailing. The words "Taste Bar" were covered by tape on some of the deck maps in the elevator lobbies (but not all; guess they'd not got around to them yet).

It was interesting and a little nostalgic to read CruiseWithWife's review of a Thanksgiving sailing on Freedom and then remember "hey, wait a second, it wasn't open for mine at all" just a handful of weeks later.

I have fond memories of the sushi place that was there before the taste bar. I would get there at 5pm each night while my bride was getting ready for dinner.

Alas it's coming back but won't be free anymore.
