Linycruise Posted September 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Hello, I just spent 20 minutes on the princess site looking for their soda policy and could not find it. Do they let you bring soda on board the first day ? Thanks, Liny
famski740 Posted September 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Yes. Have never had a problem bringing soda and juices on board at embarkation or at a port.
Optotronics Posted September 25, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Hello, I just spent 20 minutes on the princess site looking for their soda policy and could not find it. Do they let you bring soda on board the first day ? Thanks, Liny Yes they do. I use packing tape to tape 2 12 packs together and then tape a luggage tag to it. Drop off with luggage at the port. Occasionally the are rough with them and loose a can or two. Some will strap then to their carry on and wheel aboard

fishywood Posted September 25, 2018 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Hello, I just spent 20 minutes on the princess site looking for their soda policy and could not find it. Do they let you bring soda on board the first day ? Thanks, Liny Since the Passage Contract makes no mention of restrictions on bringing non-alcoholic beverages on board, that means there are none. Of course they are not going to prominently advertise a "bring all you want" policy unlike the lines that make it seem like they are doing you some great favor by allowing one twelve-pack of canned soda but no more. floridalover5623 Posted September 25, 2018 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Plastic bottles for soda are definitely better. They can be opened & resealed for later use.

Roatanfans Posted September 28, 2018 #11 Share Posted September 28, 2018 since we are a family of 5 and usually cruise from our homeport of San Francisco we like to load up our collapsible wagon with all the sodas and waters we want to bring (also lets us keep better track of carry ons and jackets since the kids when excited are not always so reliable) this makes it super easy to get on the ship and then it fits well under a bed! muffin Posted September 28, 2018 #12 Share Posted September 28, 2018 I understand that you are also allowed to bring on soda from ports of call, if you have need of more. Most people say cans are better...they may check to make sure you have not filled bottles with other liquors.

CRUISEWITHH Posted September 28, 2018 #15 Share Posted September 28, 2018 On Carnival last year I was not allowed to bring Coke in bottles only in cans. I have not tried to bring bottles on Princess so I don't know if they allow it.

muffin Posted September 29, 2018 #19 Share Posted September 29, 2018 Good news about bottles being okay. No loss if fizz if you don’t use it all. Can you bring a few 2 litre ( 2 guart?)bottles instead of a carton of cans?

Can you bring a few 2 litre ( 2 guart?)bottles instead of a carton of cans? Yes but they will not fit inside the cabin fridge. On my two Alaska cruises I brought a 12 pack of 12 oz cans for the first, an 8 pack of 20 oz bottles the second. Will always do the latter from now on.

Pre-ordered bottled water is at a reasonable price. Pre-ordered canned soda is the same price as on ship and is no bargain.

tutuwahineLV Posted November 12, 2018 #25 Share Posted November 12, 2018 glad to hear I can bring 'soda' on. Am I correct in assuming that Princess serves Coke products?? I'm a Pepsi girl. and while I don't drink it alot these days, it seems that I always want 1 or 2 when I'm cruising.
