The ship was no longer blowing any smoke when it left Nassau.  

 

Evidently it wasn’t a big deal..

Boiler fuel/air mixture problem, or a stuck fuel pump on one engine.  Neither one is a serious issue.

Same thing happened when I was on the Dream several years ago, while we were docked in St. Maarten. It didn’t affect our departure or our cruising experience.

I once had a 1965 Mercedes 190Diesel that smoked like that. It ran just fine until it didn't.

I am on the Victory in a couple of weeks, and I admit, this smoke story scared me quite a bit. Thanks for the reassurances. 🙂

Also important to note that the Bahamas isn't an ECA (Emissions Controlled Area) so they're not running it through the scrubbers.
