A recent Cruise Compass from July 21 of the same itinerary lists formal and it was on day 3. The second formal night was day 6. After muster we headed back to room and changed for dinner. Here we are leaving Port Canaveral. Watched Cocoa Beach as we sailed by. Our condo is in the middle Here is Harmony sailing past our place last week.

Rare John&LaLa Posted August 5, 2019 Author #104 Share Posted August 5, 2019 Off to happy hour in the Suite Lounge. My cruise staple, Cape Codder. Made with the finest NA vodka. Not to crowded, and wait staff is plentiful Now the reason I have Empress in the title is because I want to reflect and compare the two ships. We are on an almost identical itinerary and 8 days vs 7 days. Being in the SL is very different from Empress. Part of me liked barhopping on Empress, but this is nice also. Played some Rummy and visited with Cindy and Lou. They are some of the Pinnacles that we've met previously. Nice folks. View from SL is nice, I'll get some pictures later Off to dinner, it's such a long walk. 3
Rare island lady Posted August 5, 2019 #105 Share Posted August 5, 2019 LOL....Hope you made that long walk to dinner OK John! 😄 🥃 What did you call it again? The Pinnacle march...parade...I forget. You are going to have to keep me up these terms! 🙂
Rare John&LaLa Posted August 5, 2019 Author #106 Share Posted August 5, 2019 We have a standing 6pm dinner reservation. We'll change that a few nights due to late departure in St Thomas, dinner at Izumi tomorrow, and we may do MTD or WJ one night. Tonight is filet night, and more tomato soup. I got the salmon app and escargot Now my entree is rather unique. Cauliflower steak. With raisins. 🤣 I also get to finish Laura's filet, so I didn't miss out on a nice chunk of med rare beef.

Rare John&LaLa Posted August 5, 2019 Author #109 Share Posted August 5, 2019 (edited) After dinner we were stuffed so decided to walk down to the pub for a Newcastle. Its included with the happy hour drinks since its draft. You can also get it at On Air. Then it was off to make a $100 donation in the casino. After that we headed back to the cabin where I proceeded to get irritated with Cruise Critic. Rare ReneeFLL Posted August 5, 2019 #121 Share Posted August 5, 2019 (edited) I'll do as you asked and not repost the pictures. 🍾 Regarding your luggage, do the ridges in them help make the sides a little stronger? It looks like they might. Also, the food looks so good. How was the cauliflower steak? Edited August 5, 2019 by ReneeFLL

Hoping it lasts through our Singapore trip in '21. The cauliflower steak was very popular last night. I enjoy it as a way to eat light. But then I finish Laura's filet.🤣
