I thought the tugs were required to stay on duty to the sea buoy but they are clearly disengaging.

Nope, there is no such requirement. They were only used for her swing inside the turning basin

That's an unknown at this point, Father. When the repairs to the ailing pod are successfully completed

I hope that it can be done quickly.  It would be ashame if people could not do the Christmas cruise.

Wayobean, those are wise words and so true. Even call Holland America to see if they can fit the man and his son on another cruise. Keeping fingers crossed.

Someone on FB spoke to an officer on board NA and posted "They will start with wet dock in hopes to fix the issue, if not, dry dock."

as of 20:12 EST .... now at 6.9 knots, 197  ... so either she is loitering for some unknown reason or having directional difficulties. certainly not currently proceeding to the Bahamas.
